Travelling with work query?!?

I often travel round the UK with work and stay in nice city centre hotels. Making the trips more fun I’ll usually try to arrange a meet. I always suggest a coffee/drink (usually away from the hotel in

Staying, so no pressure from either side)before offering anything else.

I occasionally get the ‘not an quick shag’ or ‘just have a wank’ etc comments

Not sure how the offer of a social drink could be construed as offensive but would

Ah ok.

I don't think it's a reflection on you. I think it's just peoples preferences. Some of us like to have a bit of chat here and create a rapport before a meet. Some of us aren't into a one off meet with someone who is passing through.

On the flip side, there are others who quite like that approach.

Try not to take it personally Vx

Appreciate some single girls are wary of going into a hotel room alone, but just say so!

Always feels hotter in a hotel but maybe that’s just my perception!!

For me it would all depend when they made contact with me.

If you messaged well in advance and said you'd be nearby in a few weeks and I liked your profile, I'd happily chat to see if it went anywhere.

If like many, a message is only sent a day or so before hand or the actual day they arrive, they'd get deleted or a flea in their ear.

I get so many I'm in x hotel now, come to my room.... No ta.

I wouldn’t just message people asking them to pop up to my room as I’m in the hotel now!!

I always would message a week or so in advance to chat first for an initial connection

I travel a fair bit and often pop a meet up while I’m doing so. Sometimes something comes of it, most times not. But y’know what does work out? Making friends all over the place through these here forums. Then when I’m travelling, I might well already have a friend nearby - and meeting up with them is always fun.

Have had similar experience when travelling, kind of think it’s fair enough really. Did have a bit more joy once I started using here for the club listings when visiting. Nice way to meet more folk anyway.

All very true mate and very valid!!

Occasionally I do put a meet up as well as “in the area anyone fancy a drink/coffee social meet” as my profile update
