Just seen the Channel 4 Dogging Tales an extract from the programme "A man once cuffed himself to a tree in the woods with a bag over his head with a note that people should abuse him but all he ask is that the bag should not be taken off" .....that was before the place was raided by police.

What is the most weird thing/experience you have seen in your swinging or dogging life????? I like weird experiences...

We've done a bit of dogging and can't say it was much like that programme if I'm honest.

Every time we've been it's been different to the last.

We did have the police rock up once but once they checked everyone was ok they went on their way.

What you have to remember is the wan is in charge, so be confident about that and what she says goes, at least that's how I (mrs) have always treated the situation.

We also had a situation where a couple of guys got rid of a couple of wierdos too as in their words they didn't want a lady to be "exposed to wierdos like that"

I had a meet with a fem who used to go dogging, was put off by a guy who put his arm in the car and got her round the neck. Dogging is not for me.

Do you really think that would be a true reflection of dogging?. As a tv programme they will have set out to get as odd a bunch as possible, and then edit the show to make it look so stupid.

There is no way your everyay dogger would have appeared on a show like that, as they wouldn't want to be spotted, and wouldn't want to give the genuine locations away.

Given the right circumstances I'm sure it is an ok scene to be in. And just like swinging you can never guarantee your safety, as you don't fully know who will turn up.

Maybe look on a dogging site to try and find locations, and turn up to watch for a night or so to ensure you feel comfortable with it.

believe me... the lady is always (or has been in my experience) in charge. The men there will make sure what she says goes, so they can enjoy themselves s well. Let's face it, for a group of horny straight male doggers, it isn't much fun if the lady leaves.

I just watched that program on catchup and my impression is that they could not have chosen a more unsuitable bunch of people to make the program with

It's not my thing anyways as I prefer indoors in comfort and not skulking around the woods but com-on they could have found some people with a bit of life to them LoL

And that bloke that worked in the factory 12 hours a day is defiantly going to get a lot of stick at work after that comment about having a little willy which I thought was unfair as the bit in the woods where it was out looked quite normal ?

I just think they have made all dogger's out to be weirdos which is a bit unfair as what right does anyone have to criticize the way someone wants to live their lives as long as they don't hurt anyone?

I think that program was just made to ridicule those people who choose to live their lives their way

The programme makers were not probably allowed to make a programme about it that would end up promoting what goes on as a good thing. It Is after all an illegal act,if the programme had made it attractive and not bizarre then it would have been the same as promoting drug dealing or usage.

I feel however it won't put off those that take part already and for anyone who really wants to try it I don't believe it will have put them off too much.

The programme was appalling. Nothing in it was a true representation of dogging.

Saying that, I wouldn't risk going dogging as a single female, I'd take someone I trusted with me. I'd feel too vulnerable on my own, and it takes a lot to make me feel that way.

We did like the masks though. We thought it made the show. The wet factory worker was the best one....

Just treat it like a spoof documentry.....

The next day there was a double page spread about dogging in one of the red tops. Again nothing happened, but apparently some of the best dogging in the country is in the Brentwood and Langdon Hills area of Essex... Lucky us....lol

you took the words right out of my mouth... I'd just like to add, it seems that most places have different scenes on different nights... i.e. Monday/Tuesday maybe single bi guys. Wednesday may attract tv's. Thursday/Friday more couples for full swap & Saturdays like a mixed bag. But yeah, you totally need to go with open mind, time to

Suss out the types there on the night & a handy bottle of mace..!!

It was a badly made programme for sure, not experienced dogging as such but have spoken with others who do it and they enjoy the fun and much of the things said above about female in charge etc seems to be respected. Also the good guys will sort out the weirdos around etc.

Only bit that really appealed was the female taking line ups in back of car or on picnic bench, if that was a female?

Thought of my wife taking respectable and horny men like that did appeal lol.

We have been dogging for many years even though its a lot quieter now than a few years ago. We have never ever seen anything like that. No deer, squirrels, foxes, otters but we have seen an owl and certainly no pathetic creatures like Terry and his two BBWs. That whole programme had to be a set up, it was more like a Britains got Talent for doggers. No self respecting dogger would allow themselves to be filmed for TV especially in those stupid masks that did nothing to disquise your identity. The whole thing was a joke and has shown dogging and doggers in a very very bad light
