So here are some thoughts in being bi/pan from a guy who has been so for most of his life. This is just one perspective for reflection not claiming any universal truths. For context I'm mostly heteroromantic but bisexual.

I've noticed that sex with guys tends to be more casual than sex with women. There are notable exceptions in my life but typically if I'm having sex with a woman, and I mean just sex not a relationship, there's a lot of procedure. Some of it I get. There's a lot of guys trying to fuck you women and you need to vet them for the one best suited to what you want and you need to feel safe and get on with them. I'm not talking about that.

Even when all the understandable stuff is out the way there just seems to be a script that has to be followed that isn't there with guy on guy.

I remember getting to know a guy when I lived back in Loughborough. He was a fit tall muscular guy who could easily overpower me. I did the usual checks (does he seem safe/does he seem to value consent/does he really want what he is saying or will he push for more?) and he passed with flying colours.
