Who like me is comfortable with their body shape ? I’m a sixty five year old guy and I’m the first to admit I’m no Adonis but I don’t care!

Yes I could do with losing a few pounds but after a recent acrimonious divorce I’m enjoying being me and living life to the fullest. I’m polite ,respectful and honest and if people don’t like what they see then all they have to do is pass me by. Life’s too short to worry what others think.

so define what a dad bod is ?? same goes for mums bod ??

its rubbish thats what it is it means nothing apart from maybe your a dad or mum ... why not just use your real size than use a term that really means nothing ??

sorry just my opinion its like oh thats me i dont need to say my size if im a dads bod i meant you can be gym fit or a size 52 waits and still be a dad ... so its one of those pointless terms that apart from being a parent means nothing ..

thats my view anyway

I see your point but surely it is down to the individual to decide on what they describe themselves as. I’m happy to say my actual body size. I’m 6’2” tall , 50 inch chest, 40 inch waist and a bit of a beer belly. I would consider myself plump.

For me a dad bod is one where the owner doesn't have the time to hone it to perfection. I certainly have one of those, although I have started exercising to make it a little less "homely". It therefore comes with a increased stamina and energy
