Dee was in a couple of ‘Readers Wives’ sections of popular top shelf magazines back in the day and we’d get letters forwarded on from readers to us by the magazine.

Nowadays there are so many sites like this, the excitement is slightly different than it was back then.

a village near Haywards Heath in East Sussex

In my youth I used to buy magazines featuring Mary Millington who I found very desirable and interesting as a person. Later of course I learnt of her real life and the difficulties she had. A few years ago I bought one of the old magazines off an internet seller to keep . All the vintage way of taking photos in accordance with the law at that time makes for an interesting read.

We used to receive what they called "Fanmail"

We ended up meeting up with another coupe so the ladies could pose for me and the other husband,whcih were also published in Reader's wives.

I must have bought hundreds of them back before the internet, mostly from the same newsagents when the older lady was serving, some how I felt like she wasn’t judging me, where as some staff would look at me like it was disgusting to buy top shelf mags..

Readers wives was the first pages I’d look at as i unzipped my jeans..
