None of your numbers seem crazy but equally there is almost certainly a wide margin for error. So just as the Drake equation can produce thousands of galactic civilisations, with just a few tweaks here and there we get down to just one.
Another way to look at this is if you search with the parameters that you are allowed to select (age, location, MF seeking MF etc) then how many results do you get? Then you need to apply guesses for the things you can't search for (being in shape the way you prefer, straight, verified etc (I'm going from your profile here)) do you reach a similar final number?

p.s. I never thought I'd write about cosmology on a site like this "To look at it another way there are about 400 couples in our age range across Glasgow and Edinburgh which we class as travel range. Assume 50% only play with other bi-fem couples that leaves 200 couples who would play with a straight couple. Assume 80% are not the body type we’re looking for then we could maybe meet 40 couples. Of course there seems to be more and more profiles that don’t meet so we’d say there are likely much less than 40 active couples. We’d guess maybe 20 to 30 couples which isn’t far off our original guess | |||

It's not like that in my experience, also there are a lot more that you would be in the age range of I think!" Yes not sure on how many people are actually on Fab . 40k on at 9pm tonight. The amount of the population who are overweight or obese where we live and in our age group is 78% for men and 71% for women so we’re a bit out with 80% but still a large number. | |||
