What's ppls thoughts on profile disappearing and re-appearing?? Genuine or fake??

We hide our profile sometimes if we are really busy or taking a break but we do not delete it. To be honest we tend to stay clear of the profiles that start with line ... Been here before but got fed up of.... And end up with .... Giving it another go.... Just a personal thing I guess. I know some delete profiles if they get in a relationship so that may be a reason too.

some hide their profile after telling you they are happy with you as their only FB then keep on messaging others.... caught one man out who told my mate this then he messaged me!!! lol x

I am genuine and have a hidden profile, purely means I am not meeting at present and wish to cut down the number of messages I receive and also should be an indication to someone that as my profile is hidden there is no point messaging me as you can't actually see if we would fit each others criteria!

I take mine off when I want peace or Im cheesed off with people sending me stoopid messages.

It gets so boring to get the same old rubbish all the time. Prefer originality to be honest. Glad we have the choice.

What's peoples thoughts on people who poke their nose into what doesn't concern them ?

If people want to turn their profile on and off 1000 times a day, what concern is it of anyone other than the person to whom the profile belongs ?

can understand why people might chose to hide their profiles. what we don't understand are those (could name one in particular but won't out of politeness) who create new profiles all the while because they have deleted their old ones.

And we are talking a new profile every week or two.... its a mystery. surely there is no need for that

Do you mean hiding their profiles and then showing them again, or deleting their profiles and then coming back with a new one?

I reckon when people keep deleting their profile and coming back with a new one with the same or very similar name and the same pics etc ....are almost definitely fake .

What is the point of this other than to make it appear that they havnt been months and months without a meet ?

At least 4 of my friends are serial deleters for various reasons.

All of them genuine and very real Im pleased to say

I do this quite a bit because I find it hard to stay away if I just hide my profile.

I have lost many great veri's over the time I have been here, but who gives a stuff ?

As long as the people are still around to chat, banter and meet with, what does it matter what they thought of me 18 months ago ?
