meeting a premier inn hotel

We usually stay at Premier Inn hotels as late check out an nice, clean good breakfast - I planning on inviting a guy - but feel uncomfortable walking a guy in as often the satff are at the desk and not that busy outside check in and out times

what do you do - do you work in a hotel and can you tell if someone is taking a man up to meet his wife

My advice is to always walk into an hotel like you own the place! In your instance, chat with the man as if you're old mates.

Hotels are public spaces, and the staff will have seen it all, and not be in the least bit interested your "comings and goings".

Just wandering in.

The staff don't seem to really care.

It's your room, up to you what guests you have.

Some places you now have to prove who you are before security let you in.

I (male half) have been sat in the bar of a premier inn when a guy came in, took our room key and went and played with my wife leaving me sat in the bar.

I’ve yet to find a hotel where the staff really care what you do in your own room as long as it doesn’t affect the staff or other guests.

Just enjoy yourself.

A Hotel receptionist here (no I am not revealing who I work for and no you can't have discount)

Yes we notice you walking in with someone you didn't check in with, do I care? Nope, what I do care about more is you be respectful to the rooms around you so I don't get complaints as these leads to refunds and they are a pain in the arse, we lose revenue because you can't keep the noise down. Also, staying the night? Hopefully there isn't a fire, because the fire service would only be looking for how many people checked in to the room. Also cleaning bill? Matteress protectors are there for a reason lol, the only time we have fined anyone is for smoking in the rooms. just be nice and lob your condoms in the bin as a 17 year old doesn't wanna be picking up that kind of thing.

In short, no we don't care but we will probably be talking about you when you've gone through the door.

Not usually a problem, as the staff will have seen it all before.

Just make sure that nobody decides to do something stupid like vaping - I was servicing a lady once and her chap decided that would be a good idea. Their room, fortunately...

I stayed in a prem inn and walked into reception to her the receptionist telling a couple of other guests that ‘trannies shouldn’t be allowed here it’s not natural’. I did file a complaint with the head office. No idea of action was taken.

We often stay in a Premier inn on a club night. Fortunately, it’s always the same lady on reception when we book in, the same guy when we get back from the club and then someone completely different when we check out in the morning. We usually use the room for after club fun and have never had an issue getting a couple of guys in. In fact, the guy on reception at 2am has also asked to join!

However, we always leave the room clean and tidy and are always super conscious of keeping noise down. Also we always ask for 2 keys. The lady now sometimes gives us 3! Just give one of the keys our guest(s).

Our biggest worry is leaving the hotel to go to the club as at 9pm there are often “vanilla types” around raising an eyebrow at Mrs clubwear!

The couple I used to meet in hotels used to ask at reception about the parking because the hubbys “brother” was coming to visit

Otherwise just walk in as if you have stayed there loads of times and they take no notice

Just walk in as if both staying there. Chances are there will be no body on reception and if there is they don't know everybody who is stopping.

We invited a couple back to our hotel room the other week. We just chatted as we walked into the hotel, said hello to the security guard and then walked passed an empty reception to the lift area.

We have always found it more awkward leaving as why would you be leaving a hotel at two or three in the morning looking slightly flushed. Always check hair and make up before leaving so as to not make it too obvious.

We've used the same Premier Inn 4 times now and so you recognise some of the people working there.

We've had a couple of knowing smiles after checking in. Going in with R then walking out very soon after hand in hand with someone else.

It's all good fun but it can add to the nerves a little sometimes that's for sure.

The premier inn at Albert Dock has self-check in which helps.

Also has some rooms that overlook the quayside, perfect for some exhibitionism, windows visible to all passing by

I will confirm, they give absolutely no notice to people coming in and going, as long as you are not causing trouble, or are not in a huge group then it will be fine, they have mor important jobs to be doing.

As long as your key or card work fine through any security doors, you will have no bother.

I used to worry too, but in time you get used to it. Only time I've had bother was my card wouldn't work on the security door so I had to get a hotel staff member to let me and guest in, they were fine but it was the second time it had happened in a week

One of our best hotel nights have been at the Walsall premier inn, right opposite the retail park.

We’ve stayed at the Travelodge near Hellfire more times than I can remember.

It’s much better for parking than the Premier Inn..

we’ve left to go to the club in all manner of outfits and fancy dress and never once had a raised eyebrow from staff.

Other guests maybe yes..!

They know where we’re going and always have a smile when we come back early morning.

We’ve had meets in other hotels and have never had a problem. Even when we were all locked out after a swim and had to call reception..

They’re not there to judge.

I used to be really conscious of this. My hubby used to practically live in Premier Inn’s and Hilton’s for work… and he pointed out that they actually don’t give a crap… at all.

Now I use a local one for most of my meets and the bar staff and reception staff know who I am, what I do… and usually make sure I’m okay x

Many thanls to all as its very reassuing. We are hopig to go to to bournmouth they have achoice of 3 prem inns - one neaesrt to the beach, the art-deco building looks nice, may try that when weather is betweenr or from Tuesday on for possibly 2 to 4 nights - nothing finailsed yet. Cheers again
