Why do people wink?

Then you send them a message and they ignore you.

It's not just guys but mainly couples.

Is it because we ask for the fem half to prove she there or even alive ????

I have received winks from couples singles and everything in between. Always reply to a wink with a quick message saying hi or thanks for the wink. And no reply. I think some people are just button bashing!!

That's why I mainly just go to clubs. Cut out all the rubbish and chat to people face to face.

But been on this a long time now. We just delete at times. We go to events, but people are even weirder with us there. Could be cause we are pretty different looking from the rest. UK might be more for us lol

We only tend to get winks when we post photos. We then receive a ton of messages as well. So if we see someone we like and wink back the message may then get missed. The new friends only message area is a great start to helping with messages. Next we need a filter on them for couples and single guys

Perhaps they have just bottled it. They weren’t expecting a reply in the first place and then when it happens it takes them by surprise.

I’ve had a quite a few exchanges on here which have gone well but then it just ends when it comes to talking about meeting in person. On every occasion I’ve suggested a social first for the record.

I don’t hold it against them because just being here on this site could be far outside of their comfort zone.

I sometimes think the people on here who have experience can often forget that others are trying to overcome mental barriers and it’s not actually you that’s the problem.
