Why oh why do some folks put the following up..........

I/we lead very busy lives so our time is ltd and we cannot do meets blah blah

Now if you got kids i can understand but if you are on here well its one of the very main reason your on here is it not

Or are they just trying to seem important..

The thing is that being on here and this 'lifestyle' is not paramount to a lot of people, its an addition to their everyday lives. Many only meet once a month or less so all they are saying is that they have lives outside of this and cant just meet at the drop of a hat etc

Because occasionally (like on a daily basis) you get messages asking you to meet now, tonight, in 4 minutes etc and it might stop those that think I sit around my house in stockings and suspenders all day waiting to dash out my front door at a moments notice.

I wouldn't say it's to make me look important. Just that I'm not readily available and meets need to be arranged in advance.

We both work full time shifts so have to plan meets nearly a week to two weeks in advance so put it on profile!

We have actually had people having a go at us because we couldn't meet that specific weekend!

No - it is because they are busy and have limited time for meeting. Which means that timewasters are really a pain as some people really do have to plan ahead for meets.

I work upwards of 60 hours a week - often have to work in the evenings at home - and I also have a family life.

Meets have to be arranged to fit in with this life.

Sorry? fail to see your point then. Why should people not be able to state that? NOT everyone is very busy. I have an fb who can meet at short notice. I can't.

So - there it is. Some can, some can't. Why should this not be pointed out on a profile to save someone the time of messaging someone who is unsuitable? Makes sense to me.

because we are very busy with small kids and jobs ( i know for some that might be an alien concept these days) but the odd time we do get chance to meet we do not want to be mucked about by idiots.

Also we get inundated with messages wanting to meet in a hour etc or ate you free now !

Well those people might not have a life away from fab but we do and our life away from fab is more important than fab. fab or swinging is fitted in as and when we can and only then.

We make this clear as people or guys tgen call us alsorts because we cant drop everything and meet immediately because they are horny.. not giving a shit that we are busy with family or work or our real life.

Our real life is way more important than swinging. swinging is fun as and when we find ourselves free.

I made no bald statements whatsoever. I also did not consider that he had me directly in mind - I did not take it in a personal context. I merely gave an example using my own experience. Hardly a bald statement.

It is simple - SOME people can meet at little or no notice, and SOME cannot. Therefore, to have that on a profile avoids wasting other people's time with messaging them when they are clearly unsuitable. That makes perfect sense to me.

I have a full time job on a rolling rota of days, afters n night shifts and between this I'm a mum to a 15 month old n 8 week old twins and I don't play meet with my kids in the house (especially when even though you may chat for a while) that person is still a stranger and in this day and age better to be safe than sorry! I am on maternity leave at the mo but still won't meet at the drop of a hat, I have a life away from the world of Fab the is ultimately more important than finding a meet!!!

Perhaps you simply did not make yourself clear. I am not taking anything personally - as I have said twice now. I simply said that it makes sense to have that on a profile. It saves people who are not suitable time with messaging. Don't understand how anyone could have a problem with that. But each to their own.
