Because if they say they're interested in single males they'll drown in the ocean of unwanted penii in their inbox.

Saying they're not means they can actually take the time to look around for who appeals to them and message just those ones

We are not listed as actively looking for single men. However, that's not to say we don't view their profiles. If you list as looking for, you end up wading through too much unwanted attention.

People sometimes just look at profiles, not for any reason.

We will often look at profiles of people on the forums, just because it's nice to get a feel of who's posting.
