Social meets or not?

I do like the idea of these ofcourse, it shows that you want to see if you have a connection and that you feel safe around the other person…

Although, there is the exciting and impulsive side of just sharing a pic, having a quick flirt and saying meet me at this address.

Interested to find out women’s thoughts on this?

Always a social first for me, I like to chat a little, see if that person can hold conversation and eye contact in person.

That being said my fab meets are done with the intention of repeat visits and not one night stands so maybe that’s why I focus on that a little more.

Yeah I agree socials do serve their purpose, although counter argument is if you have a really good first time meet then you will know then whether you want to do it more and have fwb

I'm happiest with a zero pressure, zero obligation social, just enjoying meeting a person and that moment.

I find that I can sort of clam up?if I feel like sex is thought to be almost expected. I love meeting people, love socials but too sexual and I feel like they either see me as a done deal or that it's a hoop they're going through to have sex with me. Not sure that makes sense.

Have had both social and well, "straight to it " meets...both have been good. A social does get any awkwardness out of the way and actually see if you can speak normally to one another

We prefer a social as it gives us all a chance to find out if we like each other in more than just the physical sense.

Plus the no pressure helps us relax.

We don’t do social meets with people we haven’t met.

We’ve wasted time and been stood up for these weird, coffee, vetting type meetings that we feel don’t serve a purpose for us.

We arrange to meet in clubs, non exclusively, it’s not a date. If we meet and all click, great we are in the right place, if we don’t click, great we are all in the right place.

We have had meets with people we have met along the way where it is purely social and spending time together.

Have fun how ever you do it

Social first always, we've had a few poor experiences with people not who they claim to be (older/don't look like pics/or just no chemistry) it gets very awkward when you've planned a sexual meet, all this is much easier with a social 1st.
