I've done similar to this with a guy but I put mine into a clear plastic re-sealable bag, about 5"x3", heavy duty. He takes them away for a few days, uses them then returns them in the same bag, all wet and sticky while I leave a fresh clean pair there ready for him to collect when he returns the pair he has used.
