Fake couples profile

Is it the norm to have a couples profile go to clubs and parties as a couple but dont play together but pretend to other couples they do just to get into a couples dynamic??

Many couples on here are FBs and not an actual couple, some couples don't play with each other much anyway. It's probably not the norm though.

In this case does it matter if they’re not officially a couple, but just out of convenience?
