entitled yes that horrible word thats often connected to swinging .... are people more entitled today online than ever ...

it seems that people think by joining this site its gives them a sense of entitlement and im not talking just guys before anyone tars them all with the same brush there are plenty of women and couples too who think every thing should loand on a plate for them ...

nothing ill repeat nothing is a given on this scene nothing falls on a plate being entitled is gross in so many ways..

so question for all do you feel the entitled are growing in numbers . ...??

I come here to kill time, being single.

Not expecting meet ups etc.

There are number of people who have an attitude, what you would describe as entitled.

For example, they themselves have a silhouette, no photos, but expect face photos in order to get a reply.

These kind of pushy people are a vocal minority.

From what I am reading here is that more and more people (women and couples) are being stood up - no shows.

So to answer your question, are the entitled people growing in numbers? Yes.

I think generally clueless people are more active online, including in Fab and this is often coupled with generally reduced levels of respect for others and potentially some sense of entitlement.

With more choices, comes more freedom to be able to filter and to respect and fulfill your own preferences

There is entitlement on both sides.

Some tend to feel entitled to sex and as we are on here, all women should be down to fuck right? There's also an entitlement of a reply which is bizarre as we are strangers.

Some women use their power to make excessive demands which they couldn't get away with in real life. Men have to have this, provide that and live up to exceptional standards just to get through the door.

This is not all people but it happens a lot. People need to just relax and take this place as a bit of fun like it should be.

Yes absolutely this. I had another profile for many years and things don't change. For me personally it's couples. With guys it is what it is and there are some real gems out there. I find many couples come across as a bit like there doing me a favour ! I don't mean all couples. But certainly the majority.

This is certainly not unique to Fab or swinging, it seems a disturbing development in wider society too. I have had it on all platforms and apps including from younger generations who think they can have who they want and/ or other demographics that consider themselves marginalised. Loss of respect and common sense in a ever deteriorating society.

It’s a wonderful thing being able to share experiences with others, whether or not sex is involved. Swinging is a lifestyle choice. Be nice out there.

I've seen lots of entitled people across social media. So much so that they have actually become caricatures.

I don't use any other part of this site apart from the forums so I can't say for sure if it's on the rise or not.

There may well be profiles that come across as entitled but those are easily ignored.

It's only when profiles get in touch with a list of demands that their sense of entitlement is revealed.

Some people try and excuse this as "preferences" but there's a big difference between having something written on your profile and sending introductory messages to complete strangers with instructions.

If you don't like beards that's perfectly fine written in your bio. It's not acceptable to tell someone to lose the beard or you won't fuck my missus in an opening message.

If you only meet bi men, then again perfectly ok.

It's not ok though to send a message telling a straight man that if he agrees to play bi they will put him on their to-do list for a future event.

These are not hypothetical examples either and have actually happened.

Even on the forums there is a degree of entitlement.

Some posters confuse the words productivity and popularity and feel they are entitled to a more positive response than others.

This is pretty obvious in the way two similar threads are treated differently depending on the op and as a result some productive posters step over the line frequently because they know they will get an easy ride.

I know that I am entitled on here.

I'm entitled to my opinion even when it bruises a few egos but not to a degree where it's all or nothing.

It's an online forum full of anonymous opinions and echochambers and as such has no power to influence unless you are gullible enough or in dire need of validation.

Blokes who join the site and within 15mins are asking to meet no photos or basic information on profile or any kind of verification, no attempt to instigate in a normal conversation….. don’t know if they are entitled or deluded

Always one of those little buzz words.

Entitled to basic human respect? To have a 'No' accepted as a No and not an invitation to try harder? Entitled to have their own opinion on a matter? How dare people think they just deserve these things on a plate.

Some people certainly take it too far in what they think they're entitled to. Usually in regards to what encroaches on other people's choices to me. But everyone has a different concept on exactly where that line is for everyone else.

If you think someone is too entitled for you, move on in peace, it's a simpme website where you can block and simply not see them again. You're entitled to your own opinion on them after all

The most entitled behaviour we've witnessed has been from couples and women..

One couple were offended when we told them to fuck off after they tried to involve themselves in our play with others uninvited.

And a woman D had no desire to get involved with trying to undress him at the club bar..

There are many entitled profiles here. The wording of them is sometimes so cringe worthy, makes me shake my head with disbelief. It's all me me me (or us us us).

Only in Fab for a couple years, so it's actually hard to say if there's now more entitled ones than a few years back? OP: Are you saying that you have noticed a noticeable increase?

No I don't feel the entitled are growing in numbers. We're are able to see just how many people feel that way due to the internet.

Most people we talk to are well balanced and have little or no sense of being entitled to anything other than basic respect

Your last sentence hits it on the head perfectly. None of us on here are entitled to anything other than basic respect.

I find that the rudest and most ignorant people on here use the phrase, “you’re being entitled” as a way of beating down others when they request good manners. Decent people usually panic when labelled entitled. Genuinely entitled people don’t even realise they are entitled and are the fastest ones to accuse others of it.
