Best clubs/events for a single guy new to the swing scene

Suggestions please for the best clubs / events for a straight single guy new to the swinging scene in the Greater London or South East region.

I must admit I’m a bit nervous about going on my own, so I think I need to go somewhere relaxed, friendly and with a good ratio of men to women. I’d hate to walk in somewhere that’s full of men and hardly any women or couples.
