"So I've been on this site for about 3 years but I had my first meeting in January this year ![]() I think this is the case, at least for many of the men. I also think this is the reason that there's so few women. I suspect they get bombarded by messages as soon as they join and many then decide its not for them. Nita

"You most definitely need a thick skin for fab. It often makes me wonder how some of the guys who send vulgar messages behave in normal life. I’m happy to wait to be intimate with someone when I feel that vibe is there. I don’t use fab to arrange meets anymore. But when you find those at clubs and events who you click with it’s so worth it. " Don't blame you to be honest. Clubs are the best way to meet people. No ping pong messaging for weeks or even months on end, for it To go no where. Alot of people just stick to clubs. ![]() ![]()

"Once artificially intelligent sex robots become a thing (and technology is developing awfully quickly now...) it'll be fascinating to see how the power dynamics between men and women are affected." It will because hopefully they'll develop sex robots for all genders. Following on from that they'll probably develop 'social' robots and we'll all be in a hell of a pickle

Say for example a man is enjoying his Pamela Anderson in her prime sex bot, she's thrashing, moaning and loving everything he does to her - before the hidden razor blades contract JUST enough into the sides of his stem to stop him pulling out, her face expression changes, and suggests he hand over all his financial assets to the firm which created her, QUICKLY! ![]()

If you just want physical pleasure, just masturbate. When sex becomes a preprogrammed response by an automaton, where is the incentive to attempt to pleasure it and enjoy that mutual satisfaction of your own pleasure, and you being the source for theirs?

"Once artificially intelligent sex robots become a thing (and technology is developing awfully quickly now...) it'll be fascinating to see how the power dynamics between men and women are affected." It’s the incel dream but won’t happen for a long time, no one is even close to doing work that will lead to an artificial general intelligence. Frankly we’d both like it to be available now as the sort of man who wants that is exactly the sort we don’t want to meet.

"I first joined a few years ago and left very quickly as I was overwhelmed by the behaviour of men and couples. A few months later I rejoined and discovered the message filters so I had more control. I have been in fab off and on now. I often leave because I an sickof the way too many men treat women on here.... we are thinking feeling human beings. Yes I am here to enhance my sex life but I have standards that I will not lower and I choose carefully the very small number of people I occasionally play with.. I am not a porn star or a sex worker and I don't owe anyone anything on here least of all anyone that wants to use me as wank material or is happy to get their dick wet in any old hole. " couldn't agree more.

Not according to Elon Musk, who's at the forefront of such technology, and concerned about it's ramifications for the world within the next decade. We already have AI capable of creating art, books, music and it's even developing into movies, it's not inconceivable that it may eventually be able to do the same with personalities, I've read plenty of articles and watched videos suggesting it may already be in the early stages of doing exactly that.

We don’t really have AI capable of doing those things. "There is a big difference between AI and an artist who can think critically, make value judgements, and come up with genuinely new ways to show the world to people." How so? I'm not being clever here, as this is a subject of particular personal interest to me and I'm happy to discuss it in a non-confrontational fashion with anyone else who finds it intriguing. Almost anything you can imagine as a human being, is in some way, shape or form inspired by things you've experienced which are already there around you, or once were. The very subject of mathematics which we use to measure and quantify the universe is the result of reverse engineering, Mathematician John Lennox refers to it as the 'language of God'.

"So I've been on this site for about 3 years but I had my first meeting in January this year ![]() That is such an interesting question and I've wondered this myself. I don't know what Fab's statistics on M vs. F members for all we know there may be more women members but for sure, many more men seem to be online at any given time Speaking as a woman, I've initiated sex countless times so I guess I don't fit in the traditional male-seeking-female role BUT .....it's TRUE that men have to "compete" more than us for sex I suspect the reason is evolutionary. In ancient times, "strong" men got to shag women and produced "strong" kids so there was survival benefit. Over millennia SOCIETY adopted the idea that women didn't have to do anything as men would "fight" for them and "woo" them. So society learned that the "norm" was for women to wait for the men to compete and so fast forward to modern times - girls get sex partners with little effort so many don't have any need to be on Fab. Guys OTOH are fighting the fight and so explore all avenues including Fab. Hence number of men here is LIKELY way more than women (Fab should put out statistics LOL) Now mind you, if there were less men than women the REVERSE would be happening. I think some war-torn countries actually have more women than men so girls have to compete for a mate ![]()

How so as in, what's the difference between a human and an artificial intelligence, besides AI being newer and less refined (for now)? What you define as 'new' is a matter of perspective, you can bake a new cake recipe for example, but the ingredients won't be, and the flavour you're looking to achieve is likely inspired once more by something you've already tasted. I brought up maths because it's the basis of Artificial Intelligence and logic, the process by which we determine true from false, what is from what isn't.

You're both losing yourselves in convoluted b*ll*cks. Maths is not the basis for AI, at least in the traditional computing sense of algorithms. Probabilistic methodology (i.e. Best guess) is what makes AI different. It looks at a bunch of input data, sees the request and then makes the best inference. That's why genAI input can be so ropey (missing or extra fingers etc). My advice is to spend some time with someone who was using and building AI models years before ChatGPT. M.

I brought up maths because it's the basis of Artificial Intelligence and logic, the process by which we determine true from false, what is from what isn't. I suspect we have different definitions of “new.” And art, literature, etc, is not made by maths. Perhaps that’s what people who think that AI can create works of art are missing. And I say that as someone who wrote a postgraduate thesis in this field, and someone who uses AI to create art. I read somewhere once that the problem with AI is that instead of doing the tedious things for artists, it’s making art for the tedious. I kind of get where they are coming from. A lot of people think that AI is a magic solution to any task they don’t really understand (hence, I guess, why so many guys want to substitute AI robots for a woman). The reality is that it isn’t. It’s a tool to be used in experienced hands to assist with something." I’m not in any way an expert on AI or the like but that’s how I’ve always understood what I’ve read about it. The fantasy is that it’s going to take over but in reality it’s like any tool, without a skilled operator it’s useless. It’s quite telling how certain men are so very keen to have their own sentient sex sl@ve.

"Because social conditioning in society teaches women that it’s shameful to have an active, varied, and non-monogamous sex life. And lots of men, even here, uphold this ideology." Spot on

"So I've been on this site for about 3 years but I had my first meeting in January this year ![]() I have had a couple's account and my then partner had a female account. I can understand why women don't stay for long after see some of the mail she had. Guys a woman is here for her enjoyment, remember that when you mail and remember it's her choice. As a couple mail has come in 'can I fuck your Mrs?' I know there are all kinds of couples on here but find out who you are chatting with, and why they are here. I think the reason there are not more single women is because there can't be bothered to put up with some guys.

"It’s quite telling how certain men are so very keen to have their own sentient sex sl@ve." I'm guessing this is levelled at me, but would it surprise you that men may be intrigued by the idea, especially on a site where we are, in all intents and purposes, sl@ves ourselves with little to no power or influence? You seem quite bothered by the thought of no longer being in demand, should such technology ever come about...?

Far easier to concentrate on the real men, if the rest are fucking their talking fleshlights.

"Yes I think that is part of it j was first in here 8years ago and it was a good mixture of people seems like it's not as good as it was tbh" Use guys are expected to jump through hoops to impress couples and single women. They do get tons of terrible mesaages, so decent messages do get lost. I just go to clubs and skip all the ping pong mesaages and chat to people in person. Much much better these days. ![]() ![]()

We see fab as somewhere to potentially find people who might enhance our sex life, not to have a sex life. We’ve nothing to fear from sex robots.

Does a great job of further supporting why technology is on it's current trajectory though.
