Got sent a fake verification last week. Would never display one, as it’s deceitfull, and would only make ourselves look bad.

One of the first messages we received when we joined Fab was the offer of a fake verification which we refused and reported the profile so we always look at people's verifications carefully.

It’s easily done. I’ve known for a guy to set up two accounts, one as a couple and leave them a verification, while pretending that the couple actually existed and he was their bull. Fab certainly has its fair share of crazies.

Only verified accounts can verified others. So this guy must have had one of the two accounts verified by a verified profile. Else setting up 2, 3 or 3 million accounts makes no difference.

I don’t believe it does. But it’s easy enough to get someone to verify without meeting as a previous poster has stated.

When I met had my first meet from here as we were both new we couldn’t verify each other as you can only be verified but someone who already is. We found this strange that we had met and all was fine but couldn’t verify each other.

I can’t see how someone can be verified as the post above unless they have been verified but someone real which I can’t see someone doing.

I do agree though that sometimes clearly fake profiles have verifications so something clearly isn’t quite working correctly as the whole point of them is surely to give you some reassurance.
