How many people take just as much notice of the background in a photo to the person it it?

I do think sometimes an amazing photo is ruined due to what's showing in the background.

If only they'd moved that object then it would be perfect and not distract from the view.

Some photos have about 20 empty beer cans, 10 empty bottles of wine, can't see the floor for rubbish.

That's a big no for us regardless of how attractive the people in it are!

It's also surprising how many people don't seem to care much about what's around them, although we don't know how things were before they took the pics

It’s a great filter.

Children’s plastic toys, the cat, washing machine and of course the oh so sexy toilet bowl all tell us exactly what we need to know which is to move on…

We can understand many people don’t have artistic camera skills but if they don’t even think about background then unfortunately they aren’t for us.

And for info all our photos are taken by ourselves on our iPhones…

I mean we all have days we can't be assed tidying.

My fella posts pictures to girls with washing hung over the radiator in the background and I go so mad at him for making people think we live live tramps hahaha

Thought it was my own ridiculous standards but clearly people DO care.

We were once sent a picture by and INSANELY hot girl who was a good crack but I just couldn't get over the fact that she had mould all UK her walls and actively photographed herself against it... I just cannot fathom how people don't recognize that it doesn't look sexy haha

As they say a picture paints a thousand words. For us it's not just the person/people in the photo it's the entire scene that makes the image.

Yes we are guilty of looking at the backgrounds ... don't get us started on plug sockets

Another pet hate of ours is the blurring of everything in the photo other than just the genitals... we understand face, tattoos etc, but why take a photo and blur 95% of it.

I have never knowingly hidden a red flag in my backgrounds. I prefer to put my red flags front and centre. Don’t like the beard? Tough. Not a fan of the wedding ring? Okay, bye!

If you can only ever manage a bathroom selfie then you’re probably not single.

It’s also interesting when “single” men accidentally include their wedding photos or wife’s stuff in the background.
