Does that work EVER? I keep seeing threads like that pop up.

I have been on here for 8 months. Actively seeking meets. I have had not a single sexual meet and just one social. That is my lot. Now, folk who bleat about it, do you ever get meets off the back of that? Don't get me wrong i get as jaded and disheartened at this site as the next guy. Competition is tough and demand for single men low. But to moan about it? Doesn't that just make you look a bit of a bellend? And a needy one at that?

Meh. I don't know. I do know that for me, women who harp on about how ugly and fat they think they are, really turn me off.

So anyway... I can't get a meet this site is crap and you are all horrible yaddayadda, may your orgasms be forever premature and unsatisfying and other such curses.

I'm not sure the 2 scenarios that you give are really comparing like for like.

I have no idea whether whinging threads work, I doubt it. To me they are as unappealing as trying to stand out by criticising your peers.

We're men; third class citizens here. You have to look at this place more like forum for chat, banter, and chance to look at some decent pictures if good looking women - if you meet anyone, see it as an unexpected bonus ...just don't debase yourself in the forums ...desperation cannot be attractive

Funny old thing meeting again was cancelled (by them) on the morning if the meet. Meh, I'll live I'm sure. When my hands start cancelling meets then I'll worry. If it gets desperate I could always go get me one of those Girlfriend thingies and have a crack at that commitment stuff again, but I aint daft enough to marry again :shudder: take my advice on that front. Don't bother! Cut out the middleman. Find someone you hate and give them your house. It's much quicker. Hey I tell you what though, if I liked cock on a regular basis I'd be in there like swimwear! Plenty of guys seem to message me which I can only take as a compliment. Who knows, maybe I'll give batting for Yorkshire and Lancashire a try some time see if it makes a difference.

Ye gods I'm rambling! Anyway don't take me so seriously it was as much my sense of humour at work as a genuine question and a bit of a "really? Seriously?" type moan (moan is a little strong for what I actually mean but it'll do).

LOL you misunderstand I dont actually mean "woe is me" and all that! Im not desperate, I do well enough with the fairer sex in "really real" world. On here the ballgame is different though so I am subject to the same laws of averages as everyone else. Difficult to translate a personality into text. More so when you have a personality like mine with my sense of humour. Should really get my arse to a club but the nearest one is a bit of a hike and knowing my luck I'd get there on bingo night or something. Nothing against bingo but last time i went I got told off for dabbing too loud!

I certainly don't see single men as third class citizens, the vast majority of my meets are with single men it's just that you are one of an ever increasing number. A boo hoo post has always put me off.

I've been abit unlucky myself on this site, arranged a meet for last wednesday and on tuesday she just stopped talking to me. ignoring messages, blocked my profile

Great example is Funky monkey. He clearly states he is just here for a laugh and not looking to meet. Good looking guy, easy going, women love his bum. I reckon because of his relaxed approach and not trying to meet, if he ever did want to meet he'd get a fair few offers.
