Well we were just wondering on your thoughts for going to a club for the first time, we have had meets but never experienced a club before. Do we were our clothes in there or our underwear? Any advice would be grateful thanks. Oh and the best one in northwest too. Thanks.

There are usually FAQs on each of the club's website, they are very helful. Usually men wera a towel, ladies wear nice lingerie (not for very long Lol) or a towel. I usually take a black satin robe to walk around when I am naked...far more sexy than the towel.

If in doubt, give them a call. Some have free lockers, others ask for a small amount. Hope this helps - sorry I can avise on clubs in North West but your should find one in the Clubs section as well as all the reviews. xx Enjoy your first visit.

A wet club is a sauna based club, a dry club is more like a traditional nightclub/social/private members club and you can dress in normal clothes in the social areas and get undressed for the play areas

Up North

I went to Cupids not too long ago and may be trying Liasons tomorrow.

But the advice given is good. Go to the club review section and have a look. Partners is a wet club I believe. I don't like the idea of being naked as I prefer to wear sexy underwear.

Decide if you want it to be quiet or busy. If busy choose a night with something on. Stay by the bar and get to know people, don't wait to be approached. The social side can be fun.

No3 do a social until a certain time and then you can decide to stay and pay. You stay in normal clothes.

We women are lucky as we can wear almost anything we want. I wore a baby doll outfit but had to lose the heels because of all the stairs in cupids.

Enjoy and let us know where you choose.

Sheffield

My local, la chambre in sheffield is a good one for first timers.

Though it has a pool it's a dressed club so you can wear whatever you are comfortable in. Many wear sexy going out gear (ladies ) and cents wear smart casual - just remember nice underneaths cos they will probably be seen! I have also seen ladies in jeans and a jumper so whatever you feel happy in.

Couples and females can stay dressed in the whole club, single guys down to shorts and/or towels in play areas.

Downstairs is like a pub with a dancefloor. It's very sociable and people are very chatty. It's where everyone catches up with old friends and makes new ones - it's also where most people decide who they might like to play with, so chat to people. If you think someone has lovely shoes on tell her. If you're nervous then say. Just make conversation, how else do you think everyone else made friends?

There is a dungeon downstairs and the playrooms are all upstairs.

Btw, one rule for couples to remember in dressed clubs: if you separate then the male half will be regarded as a single male in play areas so may have to dress down.

Its up to you guys to decide about what night. I rarely go on a Saturday but i go for the single men so go on Friday or Sunday. But if you like couples go on a Saturday.

Give it a whirl. I thoroughly enjoy clubs. Don't think that because you're there you have to play. And no thank you does not cause offense - if it does then warn the staff (lc have an open door policy on single guy nights so sometimes get people who don't fully understand the rules, they appreciate a quiet heads up in case someone needs another chat or an eye kept on them - do the same if someone tries an uninvited touch, though that's rare).

Be sociable, they are licensed though one or two is best, and enjoy.

Btw i recommend la chambre to singles of both sexes too.

We found The Gatehouse in Bolton to be one of the best for newbies to clubs. You don't need to dress down and can wear whatever you feel comfy in. The staff are lovely, friendly and make you feel really at ease and there's a good mix of regulars who make everyone feel welcome. But there's also a few playrooms if you want to go off and play. It's only small but we've been going regular for the last 5 months and always have a brilliant night xxx

Hi Lancs

You've had some pretty good advice in here, if you don't mind I'll throw in my twopenneth aswell.

It's always hard to say which would be the best club to visit for anyone never mind a newbie, but if we expand the North West to include Stoke too, you'll have options as follows:

Infusions in Blackpool & Atlantis Evolution in Stoke are the only 2 clubs in that area that are exclusively couples and single ladies only on a Saturday night and Partners is also couples/single ladies on the first Saturday of the month. Several clubs restrict single male access on saturday nights including Adventures in Lust in Stoke, Townhouse on Wirral and I believe No 3 in Chorley too.

All the clubs except for Advetures and Atlantis are towel clubs or as described earlier wet, which means the guys strip to shorts or a towel on or shortly after entry and ladies dress as sexy as they dare, what French Bambi suggested is similar to how many ladies dress and very few just wear a towel.

In all the clubs, while you'll certainly see naked bodies, it's not that often that someone will wander round a club naturist style though it's definately not uncommon to see variations along the topless theme for ladies ranging from totally bare boobs to a silky transparent blouse or fishnet body stocking helping to create a sexy image.

Clubs like Liaisons and Adam & Eves plus Connections in Blackpool have a fair quantity of single guys whom attend so if your not too keen on single guys you may prefer to try those clubs when your more experienced. Having said that I have found Adam & Eves to be a very friendly club, and while I once used to like Liaisons in Rochdale the last time I went I found it to be needing some investment as it was looking somewhat tired.

I went to Connections a few weeks ago and am probably going to the party there tomorrow night and while that also needs attention, you can see the work the owner is putting in and it's certainly a place to keep an eye on.

Partners has a huge spa area, Infusions has a swimming pool, Cupids is a large club with plenty of areas to play, Atlantis is a dance style club so as you can see a very wide range of choice.

Final thought, while club reviews are good, read them with a pinch of salt as you do get people posting regularly in praise of a club and others which sometimes seem aimed to cause trouble.

Best of luck and have fun.

Mark x

We still get nervous going in, but soon relax. Wear and do as little or as much as you feel comfortable and don't be surprised if you are shocked at some point! It's half the fun! Along with the people watching!

Pull have a great time x

My and the GF are waning to go to a club and we like the look of infusions but, and this is the tricky bit, we're only after MMF but looking at going on a Saturday which is couples night! What is the protocol? Do you think we would find a guy happy to do this without his Mrs joining in?

We don't want to go to a club with a load of single guys in as we're still nervous about the club thing.

Paul you can try out Townhouse in Wirral. I have been there and the atmosphere is good for many of the couples... If you go on Wednesday night's there are a lot of single guys and you can invite one of them. If people are pushy or you feel uncomfortable just let the owners who are behind the bar know and they will handle the matter. I highly recommend the place buddy.

We went to no3 last fri and enjoyed it. Our first time in a club and our first swinging experience together (mine ever). Everyone was so friendly. Very relaxed. Fully clothed until 10.30, then into underwear.
