Harder to meet ??

Recently is seems harder to meet couples for fun, not sure why, we are in Cheshire and love to meet fun people for wild times,

is anyone else noticing a slower trend ?

Yep, I posted a thread on it a couple of weeks ago - the swinging scene has definitely slowed to a crawl in the past year or so.

ur profile itself limits ur meets..not saying its bad, but reading it...well..cant u see why thered be a slowdown?

I have a few points, but not really one for posting everything on someones page to an open forum

Possibly, I believe someone mentioned on the threads people perhaps needing to work longer hours to make ends meet/less money to cover travel and hotels/babysitters etc - mind though, that doesn't really explain why their seems to be far fewer single females than before (though no doubt the same cannot be said for single males, in fact I suspect it'd be quite the opposite).

we are all ears for pointers on our profile

yes the downturn has effected everyone, we used to travel to essex for meets but we think twice about going to far now given petrol prices, plus we are out of country frequently, but we have noticed less parties and much less swinging going on, unless we are just getting old lol

We've not noticed it being slow? And if anything the recession is making us more active, a meet is often cheaper than a night out for us. Even clubbing is cheaper than a night out as we don't drink.

ok..

bareback (each to their own)- but of course its becoming more commonplace for people to be put off

last meet by verify standards is a good while ago

u dont have clubs as an interest,which in effect can be used the same way as parties that uve attended

perhaps having some male pictures(or being together in some pics) would help cpls be more interested

It seems to me that as people become more experienced on here their profiles become more detailed and, potentially, negative. [not saying yours is OP]

May I make a suggestion, try the following:-

1. Set up your Preferences to exactly match your profile text and then Browse.

2. Eliminate those profiles that don't really interest you within TEN seconds of looking.

3. Imagine those that remain are very exacting people with high standards and a comprehensive list of dos and don'ts. A sort of swinging OCD.

4. Now count what is left as that is the pool of people from which you are drawing your meets.

As a single male I have exacting standards too. There MUST be a pulse!

i had a read... and I have a sensible guess at what you are alluding to..... it would certainly raise red flags with me and probably a lot of "health conscious" people...

thats why I said I wouldnt post what was ON the profile...its open to view..however the OP (and actually thanks OP for not acting negatively on the consensus of advice)- basically said to go ahead I believe

from my OP in relation to the OP's opening thread- I drew attention to their profile, which isnt ON the original post.

dont think ur being anal, but honestly ..a good number of years on here and I know how to word things well most of the time..

besides, I was beaten to my posting in my next comment anyway

I think it's the post-Christmas blues

Personally money's been a little tight, but then I've had a lot of outgoings

Work too plays a part - maybe we're all just digging in a bit

But, I do know, that after Easter, and Spring finally arrives, the ground will be getting warmer, and the sap rising
