It’s amazing how much the modern diet has changed perceptions of the past:My paternal Grandfather when he enlisted in WW1 was 5’2 & 3/4.

When GONE WITH THE WIND was being film Hollywood had access to thousands of original American Civil War uniforms but the American diet had changed so much in the 70 years since the war that the actors couldn’t fit into them so they had to spend a small fortune making new ones.

Me too, got the Scandi DNA - Viking Ancestry confirmed.

All native British have a background of between 2-4%

My Mr has slightly more at 14% suggests possibly either a recent Scandinavian ancestor or as has happened with certain parts of UK and Ireland have pockets of relatively unchanged populations ancestry

Out of interest how much % do you have

My own heritage has no Scandinavian DNA due to being from the Iberian peninsula "

My genealogy is 23.6% Nordic believed to be in relation to the vikings landing in Lindisfarne in the north east where I originate from. Not only do I have the look of a viking, my religion is also Nordic Paganism where I pray to Odin Allfather and have Tyr as a patron god.

Following on also from other comments in this thread, perhaps all of us modern-day Vikings should join together for any women looking to have a viking gang bang lol

Rock the full beard - you can always trim it back if you don't like it. Does take quite a bit of maintenance mind.
