Aftercare and the Porn Industry

Saddened lately to read about the untimely deaths of several porn stars and got me thinking about whether the adult entertainment industry takes enough care about the well being of it's talent both during their time in the industry and once they leave it.

Do you think more could be done to protect the well being of adult industry workers and do we as consumers have a responsibility to question the ethics of what we view and should we actively seek out more responsibly created content?

Its generally considered to be an exploitative industry so hardly going to have Marks & Spencer type HR policies and procedures.
