Sending Unprovoked Abuse

Why do you think guys do it?

I’ve had a couple of completely unprovoked abusive messages in response to posting a completely inoffensive status.

Is it just misogyny or do you think there’s something deeper going on with some guys here?

Is it a winning tactic to get laid?

I guess you just have to take the stance that the issue is with them and try not to let it worry you ....but there are certainly some strange individuals around !!

Sadly OP this site can leave you jaded after awhile. There are some very sick people on here. (and also some very lovely people I might add) try not to let the pathetic idiots upset you. At least they're hiding in plain sight so you can instantly block. Which is better than having chatted for a bit then seen their horrible personality!

Out of interest what was the status and what were the offensive comments ?

Never acceptable but nice to know what the context was.

I’ve heard of blokes turning nasty when they’re turned down quite a lot

Sad times but these people are out there on fab and in other walks of life

Wonder how many women leave fab other things like this

I think sometimes they realise that it least gets a reaction which is better than them being ignored

I think they do it just to get any reaction they can. I think most feel so lonely they’d rather have a negative reaction than no reaction

It’s not just guys as well! I’ve had some abusive messages from couples completely out of the blue about a status or something I’ve said on the forum.

The status is still up - it says I’m getting a tattoo but I don’t know what to get.

I can’t post what was said to me, but it wasn’t very pleasant.

Wow that something so innocent drew a vile response

Hope it’s not got to you to much

Have a great weekend x

In our case some of the guys messaging us refuse to believe that as fat people we have the right to say no to anyone as we must be desperate for anything/anyone.

So the rejection makes them abusive very quickly.

Some guys have an overwhelming sense of entitlement. Their parents obviously never taught them any respect growing up and 9 times out of 10 it was the bullies in school

Because we're on the Internet and you always get the keyboard warriors

Personally, we've heard it all before and laugh it off.

Alot of people men and women think that because its done through a keyboard and not face to face they can say what they like without any repercussions and its wrong. Just because your hiding behind a keyboard does not give them the right to bash anyone. Id say they are not happy in their own lives so they try to make others feel just as shitty.

On another note anyone who does receive anything like this please do report it to admin as its definitely not what anyone wants or needs

Curtis here!

Tbh I get a bit funny when random profiles will message to meet now or make a comment which isn’t necessary. Yeah we are here for the same thing but how hard is it to just read the profile and if you fit the criteria as such then surely that’s okay to message. But the amount of either single men or random couples come out with some pretty vile things as a first message, I bite back with a sarky comment

It’s just trolling boredom / entertainment for most of them

Just my opinion. There are some nasty individuals out there, probably just keyboard warriors, with absolutely no intention of meeting, but just with the intention of antagonising people and starting and argument, all because they are bored and they get a thrill out of it.
