Addictions is a strong word and the alternatives you offer OP seem to imply that people are here because of some kind of issue with them.

I am here because I enjoy meeting couples (and single ladies) who enjoy sharing. That is still outside the mainstream enough to make it "unusual" but that doesn't mean that I am lonely or addicted. It just happens to nicely meet a sexual preference I have.
