I almost always wear an anklet nowadays when out and about.

My usual one is perhaps a normal piece of jewellery that any lady may wear .. subtle but sexy - I think. I do however have a HW anklet I will often wear on a girls night out .. and most definitely if I’m going to a club - see the pic x

Some would argue they still do!!

I think there are certain styles and charms that would indicate a predilection for swinging .. but for the most, I think they are a fashion item!! - nothing more! Xx

About 7 or 8 years ago we used to go to a swingers club where everyone had to wear wide rubber bands around the ankle. Not typical Anklet lol but depending on which ankle (left or right) and the color, indicated what you were looking for. Worked well..
