A gangbang is more about how you’re doing what you’re doing than how many people you’re doing it with. There must be one person who is the central focus of the sexual activity of several people, one after the other or at the same time. Three could be several in this case. But a foursome is different because one person probably isn't the central focus. Just my view and I'm often wrong.
