Funny you should say that but i had one who was genuinely involved in a car accident on Saturday night and i was meant to had met her last night.

It was true as it was mentioned on the RAC road watch check

She's ok though and another arrangement is planned soon. She wants her bruised curves rubbed which i am only too happy to do

Women who say "Oh I'm gnuinly interested, I just don't like to rush into things" o I wait... patiently... 3 month... 6 months... 9 months... and (as you do) discover they've been meeting everyone else willy nilly, yet if you ask them, you're accused of being pushy.

More and more women (especially in London) seem to be doing this.

i've booked a few rooms in the past and the guys havnt shown, i really hate that, to not show is one thing, to let you pay out money for a meet and then not show is just damn right rude, i refuse to pay for hotel rooms now days, my rule of hotel meeting now is you book and pay for it and i'll give you half towards the cost when i get there, that way i dont feel like im expecting the guy to do all the paying out but also im not throwing money away, if they not happy with that they can meet someone else lol

Ah! See this is the thing, am very happy with rejection (once I know "Not my cuppa tea mate", the problem arises when I then get question over what I have to do (usually travel) with people who are interested... by the people who aren't. Catch-22.

It does seem now days that every time you cancel your a time waster, i have been doing this for 9 years now and in all that time i've had to cancel twice, which to be honest seeing as i have 3 kids i dont thinks bad going, last time was only this summer when my youngest daughter fell off the trampolin and cut her leg very badly, it was actually while i was getting ready to meet a guy from off here, so i did what i had to and called him to explain what had happened, of course i got a load of verbal of him and he asked me what hospital i was taking her to so he could check i was telling the truth, i refused to tell him as it was my 8 year old daughter i was taking and to be quite honest didnt want him knowing her name etc and him checking up on her, to which he said if i was telling truth id have nothing to hide and the reason i wouldnt was because i was lying, then went onto saying i'll pick you up from the hospital, so i said again no because i have my child with me, i think he replied excuses, excuses etc anyway i hung up on him because i had to get to the hospital and i didnt have time to argue, next time i logged on fab i had a new verfication and he had put on it about me being a time waster, obviously only ment for my benifit. just his way of letting me know he didnt believe me i suppose, so even if you are honest your still branded a liar on here

I just don't get this booking a hotel room before you have met them thing...

Is why I ALWAYS meet socially first, the way I look at it is if you are hot enough for the guy he will be more than happy to meet you on another night for a second (more physical) meet.

Recently had a guy offering to drive over 400 miles and book a hotel local to me, he never got it when I explained that unless there was significant attratction on my part then it could be a costly and wasted trip for him.

Well we've just had 2 couples this friday and then a different couple tonight drop out on us within 20 mins of their arrival. This was inspite of making every possible effort to make sure they were happy with us and we them. How bad is that and how disrespectful and rude is that

About 8y ago when I started to venture into adult chatrooms, I arranged to meet a chap in London, room at a hotel booked, lied through my teeth to hubby (now ex) with regard to why I needed to be in London that day etc., waited in the cold and the wind for 2h, for him not to show up. Not even a phone call or text to say why.

He chickened out at the last minute - he was married!

I felt very cheap and desparate afterwards

I always joke that people who swing must have very sensitive immune systems, due to the amount of last minute stomach aches, sinus problems, period pains and A&E visits that seem to happen at the last minute

The worst one was a woman who I agreed to meet who looked nothing like the pictures she sent me on MSN, and then proceeded to smoke like a chimney for 2 hours. It's the only time I've not gone through with a meet... but damn! Her photos must have been 15 years old (or not her)!!!

It is frustrating though when the woman/couple are up for it until about 4pm when it all goes strangely silent... ah well - at least I know the tell tale signs now
