The amount of people who ask Kik Snapchat, etc gets a bit annoying

Yeah confuses me also this. Especially when asked after a few messages. Rather chat here first then maybe eventually move elsewhere to chat more frequently etc

The kik app is rubbish, lots of pops up etc. I can see why women would prefer over WhatsApp as not based on phone number but I’d rather just chat on here

I get the why to WhatsApp as messaging is easier, sending photos etc and if you want a conversation over days/weeks etc WhatsApp is easier to use vs here they got lost etc.

However I don’t like using WhatsApp straight away as I’m not keen on giving my number out straight away, which telegram is good for but then hassle.

A feature which isn’t used often is if you become friends on here, and message you can see a separate inbox from just your friends…

It clearly says on my profile that I don't have any messaging apps and will only chat on here, but I still get asked regularly and it's always no.

It's a good filter as it shows they haven't read my profile, delete messages move on .
