Personally we're very much in the club campe.

The first thing that spring to mind with online arranged meets is you can never full gauge chemistry until you meet in person. So in theory you could spend loads of time and energy chatting back and forth. Possibly have to bend over backwards to find a date and time you can both meet. Then after all that you meet and in person it's a fail. Or even worse after bending over backwards to be free, possibly travelling a good distance and maybe after spending a bit (possibly hiring a babysitter or booking a hotel room) you get stood up.

Or go to a club. You can go on a date/time of your choosing (opening hour dependant). It won't stand you up. You are in the company of many potential matches rather than going all in on one. If you get chatting to someone (or arranged prior to meet someone) if it don't work out you can both move on and explore others. Or even make more than one connection or have more than one encounter. And of course you're in a place where you are able to take things to the bedroom then and there if its working out. Plus if things go well you can still exchange contact details and arrange future encounters in or outside of the club. Plus even if it doesn't end in any matches you can still have a good social night out, get your face seen on the scene and maybe watch some hot stuff.
