No longer a couple

Why do I keep seeing couples profiles with the update saying...........no longer a couple just ????? (The male) playing now. Surely a single profile should be created and the old couples profile deleted?

Have seen loads I them too I just report the profile and 99% of the profiles are them changed to single by admin

Suppose it's the same difference as some who have to have another non-combatant partner present when playing as a 'chaperone'

Surely a message to whoever verified them saying I'm now playing as a single would you mind verifying me would suffice.

Whenever I see ones like that, I go into Report User and report them as using the wrong sex. When my ex partner and I called it a day as a 'genuine couple' at New Year (we still meet as a couple though), we shut down the couples profile and started new singles ones - hence the one you are reading now.

There is a very simple reason why guys do it (although I have also seen fem doing the same...) and that is the sheer mountain they know they will have to climb to get the same level of activity on here.. and meets of course.

But, at the end of the day, it's still the swinging equivalent of fraud in my book.

well you would think so..but not everyone would, we all use fab in our own way its up to them what they keep on their profile.Plenty more profiles to browse.

I'm going to disagree with the Wise One slightly (forgive me Master... but do you not also teach us to think for ourselves? )

If the former couple ask Admin to change the profile to a single one then I don't see a big issue ... although the veris might seem odd to anyone reading them I suppose.

It might be worth Admin posting up the 'official line' on this?

Maybe they were never genuine couples initially anyway, and realised that you can only pretend to be such for so long. I doubt the individuals get much success

Well, that's the same as taking the bull by the horns yourself, isn't it, and is equally 'above board'. It's those who continue to use their couples profile to get around searches etc and to present themselves as something they are not which I am getting at.

And that's your 'free will' allocation for the week used up, my child... Now away and sit in a cupboard in a sackcloth toga (Hey! It's Opus Dei Week!!)

Hmmm... completely missed the veris aspect there. Good point. Now, the veris in the couples profile were written about a couple - not a single person. Now I have come across the odd (very odd in some cases) person who is literally one 'persona' when swinging as part of a couple, and a completely different one when swinging on their own - sometimes to the point that the same couple who verified them 'as part of a couple' wouldn't even go near them as a single!

The only way that could work is if a line was added to their profile saying the veris before such and such date were written for the couple, not the new single.

Jeeeeez! It's a bloody minefield when you think about it!!!

As people say, sometimes it is a minefield.

I should imagine a lot of those profiles that mail saying they are now playing alone have no veri's on at all anyway.

The best thing to do is REPORT the profile and let Admin do their thing.

Thats a totally different thing altogether.

If they are playing as a single on the site they have the right profile.

If or when they get the wife involved they can make a couples one then.
