Should every profile old and new be made to get photo verified if not already verified?

I firmly believe for other people's and users safety and piece of mind yes.

Maybe not forced, as far as profiles go if they are not face verified I’m more cautious

And if no verifications then no face pics

Fair point but I personally think it should be mandatory to make sure single ladies are not single men and couples are actually couples.

Why should profiles with lots of meet verifications need to photo verify?

Mandatory photo verification for new profiles won't have any effect on people's safety because all it does is show that they are the gender they are claiming to be.

It doesn't prove that they are genuine/nice/kind/safe/approachable.

Well if they are claiming to be something they are not then I believe them to be slightly unhinged and wanting to deceive, in turn proving to me they can't be trusted. Imagine yourself as a single lady wanting to meet another single lady and a single man or couple turns up.

I would be taking my own precautions and not relying on pictures on the internet to tell me what someone was like.

Lots of people claim to be things they are not and no-one would consider them unhinged.

It doesn't mean that the person is obliged to show their face (I am a verified member and choose not to).

Whilst FAB would probably loose some revenue in the short term it would win long term. Fab would be a more genuine and authentic site to find what ever it is you are looking for. It's reputation as a safer site would improve dramatically

I always look at photo verified and a lot of times only interact on a personal level with people (very personal chat & pictures) if they are verified by meeting, and having a read of said verifications

Photo verification is literally a waste of time.

If you are that way inclined - Get verified with actual mugshot. Delete it and catfish away with any old picture grabbed from the web

we'd say mandatory, theres nothing to stop people constantly creating new profiles whenever they get banned. at least this might deter

We have been on the site for over 10 years and are still not photo verified.

People can use any photo they want and pretend it's them?

We have always said, people should have to provide a DBS check to become a member of any site like this.

Most people who are genuine wouldn't mind and it hopefully would stop a lot of fake profiles/ timewasters x

Photo verified is best for safety and avoiding scams too.

Verifications I don’t fully trust, because what if “not photo verified “ are giving verifications.

From my experience with ladies here, I can say that photo verified ladies are genuine, honest and don’t mess you around. If they are not interested they will tell you, not string you along.

I was scammed once. A lady turned out to be a guy!!

Reading various forum posts, there are single guys posing as couples.

Also, it seems they are stealing ladies photos in order to show they have a female partner.
