Been chatting to a few profiles here & via watsapp …..everything seemingly going well & sometimes to the point of arranging a meet then BANG !!!! No replies or blocked

Is this something others experience here ?

Wasn’t a no show, got to the stage of arranging to meet , then don’t hear back from them ….messages are read but not replied

I get sometimes people get cold feet or change of mind but surely a simple message to say this or even “bit busy with life etc , will message if/when would like to meet”

Similar to the “hi” or “how are you” messages that always end up being a timewaster or trying to get off on dirty chat

Makes me wonder how these people deal with conversations outside of fabs

Well only yesterday we had arranged a social meet in a coffee shop with two guys (an MM profile) who failed to turn up. We could see they were online on Fab but had ignored our last message to them. This is not the first time this has happened despite us always checking people's veris etc. We have reported the profile to Fab admin but not aure if this will do anything useful

A lot of riff raff joined who had previously been on Tinder/Craig's List or used thier local brothel.

I miss the days when there was more of the Fetish/Burlesque crowd but they seem to have retreated onto FL.

Chatted to quite a few ‘couples’ on here where the conversation was flowing then…..nothing? Hey ho move on.

Tried to meet a couple only to be let down at the very last minute….no second chance.

We’ve found that the best place to meet is at a club as they generally turn up there plus met some really nice people.

I think we've been lucky to have only been stood up twice on here.

The first one was our first ever arranged social meet so we were very nervous. Confirmed it with them just before we headed off to the bar. Sat there for an hour waiting, messaged them a couple of times, then came home. Never heard from them again.

Second one was pretty much the same. The chat was going great, all having fun. Arranged to meet them for a coffee. On the way there we get 'sorry, my cat just died'...

We've had to bail on plans ourselves, in the past, so we don't take it personally. We just try and give as much notice as possible and make it up to them if they'll let us.

Exactly, if we were given plenty of notice it wouldn’t be an issue as we’d just make other plans but when they message literally five minutes beforehand with a lame excuse then no.

Strange behaviour but I guess it happens.

As for ghosting via messaging why would you waste your time, just cut message short with a polite no thanks.

Not managed a successful meet yet. 1 man working “late”, 1 wouldn’t offer a face pic and ultimately didn’t turn up because we may have said a polite “no” on meeting, and 1 just ghosted us the day before. In all 3, we’d already gone to the expense of a hotel room and travel arrangements. Clubs are easier-nobody can hide.
