I get that it isn't particularly inspiring but I can also imagine spending ages writing messages that are never read is very disheartening too. I don't discriminate however. I reply to all messages so a “Hi” message gets a Hi reply simple as.

Being inspired comes both ways in my opinion….like how the fuck do you get inspired by a profile that just says ‘X’ or ‘Will fill in later’ and just have tit pics or is full of the ‘Do not do this’ and ‘Do not do that’ wording. No the hi alone isn’t odd but it normally comes from an empty profile no pics or bio or like you say very little which leaves me with not a lot to type back like maybe hi how are you then they don’t reply now that’s the bits I find odd I don’t send a ‘hi’ message but I find that conscripting a well worded opening message that shows I’ve read their profile means absolutely nothing if the recipient doesn’t like the look of me from a picture." | |||
