"Due to nerves?"

Yes. I was on as a couple about 10 years ago and I got so nervous I threw up. So cancelled

It happens and I had been swinging about 19 years at that point.

It's partly why I always say I'll do club meets

I always get really nervous but I think that’s part of the fun. Wherever I go to meet them guaranteed I feel like I want to run in the opposite direction or vomit but I put my big girl pants on and go through with it and I always have a great time. The guy that I’ve known for the last 4 and a half years every time we meet we still get extremely nervous with each other and it’s great

Many years ago, on another site, I was foolish enough to get a train to Birmingham, then on to Redditch, for a meet and this couple did exactly that to me!

I was EXTREAMLY lucky that time as I got pulled on the train back to Birmingham and ended p having a really nice "vanilla" time with a random pair of girls going out for the night!

But that was besides the point and I was fucking fuming with the couple who I felt took the piss! after all, thy knew I was coming from London and we talked at every journey change! ie, london to brum,. brum to reditch and then once in redditch. phone switched off!!!!!

atfer that experience I vowed NEVER to do that to antone else! ever!

So No, I have never done that

NEVER.... although there was one couple we were supposed to meet in a supermarket costa. We arrived on time but no one there who fit the photos we'd been sent, we waited, we looked around, nothing, no messages on fab and they hadn't logged in. Before giving up we wandered around the store and found them shopping !?!?, they looked NOTHING like their photos, she was HUGE too. We walked out of course and never heard from them again either....

No, never last minute and never because of nerves. We have cancelled a couple of times, well in advance (literally weeks in advance) so no one had to lose a valuable swinging evening and hotels/clubs were not yet booked at that stage. Reason was that we were not sure that there was enough attraction overall, but never because of nerves.

We are ok with agreeing to a social+ meet, but we'd never agree with a couple we are meeting for the first time to book a hotel/AirBnB. We want to keep open the option to say thanks but no thanks to play after we meet them socially.

I don’t think anyone will admit to that really but the answer is yes from experience. We have been let down many times.

We won’t cancel once arranged and don’t arrange until we are certain we can meet. We always confirm the night before but still get let down on occasion sadly.

A little bit of fun we had toward the end of last year showed me that I'm probably a more nervous person than I thought I'd be in such a situation.

The good people of Fab gave me some great advice though and basically said "don't worry you're not alone"!

I don't think the nerves would ever get in the way to a point of having to pull out (no puns) though.

Definitely not , if you arrange a meet go for it , however I did once decline the offer of fun with them , mainly due to cleanliness and as they were high at 11 am in the morning , not just a bit of to chill def brown , thanked them for inviting me but home was a rubbish tip , much more cautious now who I arrange to meet and when . However life is for learning , this was years ago by the way . Do prefer clubs now no pre arrangements unless I’ve seen the people before , if new contact I always look to see if finger nails are trim and clean , odd I know but a good indicator of self cleanliness

Nope but had that happen to me

Chatting for a couple of days and arranged to meet in a hotel. All messages were positive

Messaged on the day and all good, in the evening I sent another message to say I was on the way and when I’d arrive, got the thumbs up and said they were in the bar.

40 mins later told them I was parking up and went to the bar, nobody. Messaged them and left unread for 15 mins. Finally got a message that said they were tired and went to bed

I wasn’t happy. They then admitted they bottled it

This examples that not all single guys are a waste of space , I’ve found unrealistic couples can be worse they bottle it have many rules , boundaries we should adhere to I agree , however the demands made sometimes just don’t endure to a relaxed meet

We’ve never let anyone down.

However, we’ve been let down by a couple we were due to meet. Dressed up, baby sitters organised and taxi into town. Sat in the agreed bar but nobody around looking like them. Logged onto fab to check to see if they were running late and they were on fab still at home 10 miles away. So frustrating! No response to polite messages asking if they were delayed at all so blocked. Mrs SW

to add to what ive already said further up ....

nerves are normal in a way nerves are a good thing keeping you alert but being so nervus that you cant get past actually meeting then as i said their zero point in even being on the scene as all it will do is label you a watse of time for being a waste of time ...
