How many of you see verification as important and would lack of them stop you going with someone?

Anyone trapped in a cycle of getting no meets due to no veris so not able to get any?

I will be honest , on a single guy profile they don't bother me too much. If I chat and I like the sound of them I will meet socially and then go from there

I won't consider this with a couple or a single female. Much prefer verifications so I know they're not a single guy pretending

A way around this is to meet people for a wee drink or a bite to eat during the day in a nice country Pub. That way they can veri you without any strings. Good luck.

The opposite for us. For couples we always have a girls phone call before meeting. But for singles we do tend to look and see if they have verifications before getting in touch.

I will meet a man who sounds and looks what I am looking for, irrelevant of no verifications. I met one man who had glowing veri's, he misbehaved during a meet and I had to ask him to leave, so can't rely on them anyway.

The way i look at it we were all new once. Luckily for me someone i met on another site introduced me to fab so he was able to verify me. I know from posts on here that its not always that easy.

Id meet someone unverified if we'd spoken for a while and i was confident he was for real

Good verifications - and yes there are some that are not so good - are an important way for me to decide whether to contact the person or not. If I like what I read, I will also read the other person's verif. Once a profile has accumulated a large number of verif over the years of being on this site, I think it would make sense to choose a few good ones from the past that are unique and not repetitive. Too many verifs make me move on very quickly or I only read the first one, so it better be really good.

The only way I would meet someone without a veri is if I had seen them on cam (skype only) and chatted for a couple of times. If they wont skype cam then I wont meet them. If they havent got skype, then has to be messaging here for a while plus face pics available.

Going off veri's isn't always reliable. My worst ever meet was with a guy who had loads of good verifications, some off people I knew.

Everyone was new once and has to start somewhere. However - I'd be unlikely to travel long distances for a social/fun meet even if I'd done my usual homework with an unverified couple/single.

I have met a few if I've been on my travels with work and will continue to do so - but confess that profiles with veri's will always be more likely to interest me if its been on-site for a month or two. And webcam veri's mean nothing to me.

Really the verifications mean nothing cause no one is going to display a negative one and there is nothing stopping someone having more than one profile and verifying themselves. Although I do look to see if the person has got any it wouldnt stop me chatting to them with a view to meeting.

We have no written anymore verifs only tick and have been photo verified by site, after cpl yrs being on here we are finding it hard as genuine cpl to get a meet.why?

We only ask to cam and have social meet to see if there is connection. Is this too pushy? Any opinions appreciated......

The 1st thing we did when we joined Fab:went to a social in our area.

We didn't expect anyone to meet us without veri's.We decided and it works very well for us only to meet ppl who have MEET veri's displayed.

verifications , lets say they might say great things as its each to their own..it would be foolish to go into ANY with sexual expectations, thats neither fair to yourself or the future meet.

what the verifications do though, is show people are meeting..and there is easy ways to work out mathematically that someone may have a more genuine approach to swinging than others.

Its not that easy to fake ur own verification using another profile as u cant do it from the same location

and finally..there are people that do think this site is full of timewasters and will commonly say shit like "does anyone ever actually meet here?!?"-- of course they do, and stop being a twat and research the site, opportunities outside the site and use some gumption!

They are of little importance these days it only shows another profile says this or that who knows if its real or an later ego of the first person. A number of verifications from well known users hold more weight but that can be negative with some as well as positive.

The best bet if it all worries you is to get to one of the many socials organised from here. Its been suggested a thousand times before to people but its one way of getting verifications for good caricature from known members.

I reckon if they have been here a month without a verification they just aren't up for meetings. It's no pressure to meet someone in a pub with a back door if you don't like them and they are scarey make the excuse to use the toilet and scoot out the back door

I think this is the same for me. Verifications can be pretty meaningless anyway. All you need to know is the person is real and the sex they claim to be

i am not sure both are true but do accept that its a never ending circle....my prefernce in meeting someone is not purely based upon veri's etc;its more to do with contact ie; if some can talk to you over phone and is prepared to meet sociably as well as sexually; then they stand better chance of meeting...thats just my point of view

We have not asked for verifications of our meets of late. We only put two on to show that we are meeting and real. May get an up to date one to keep them looking fresh but not bothered about them to be honest. Can see that they would mean a lot to some people though.

I have had no problems at all with meets arranged with verified members on this site.

On the other hand I have only ever arranged two meets with unverified members both of whom failed to show.

Now I do not bother with unverified members which is a shame as how will they ever gain verification.

I used to care about veri's but not anymore. They are pretty pointless really. A couple may have recent veri's but have recently split so it's only the bloke on the account. Or as others have said, someone may have great veri's but turn out to be a bad meet.

I always have a coffee meet first. If it was a woman or couple I'd need a fem to fem phone call before anything else.

The other sites I've been on didn't have a verification system and I managed ok.

theres so many fakes and timewasters on this site so many ppl wont meet unless yur verified by others to prove yur for real about meeting ,im not saying yur not genuine but many arent

Its people that have been on here for sometime that dont have veri's that sets the alarm bells ringing .

It isnt that hard to prove your genuine a webcam costs a few pounds and its an internet site so there is really no excuse

We would be hesitant to meet a couple that had been on here for that long with no veri's. We'd be open to meeting a club and that would be it. You might be genuine, you might be a fantasist and our time is too precious to chance it being the latter.

As for cam, we never cam to proove that we are genuine and would feel it pushy, particularly from an unverified profile.

A new profile having no veri's would not be an issue to us. But the longer they had been on the site the more it would concern us.

If they complain about their lack of veris then I can see your point. However there might be many many people without veris who are very happy with that.

Also, single men can't get verified by webcam. Only by meets.

No!not important im quite capable of making up my own mind what is good for one is bad for another. Personally the very graffic veries put me off both the person getting and the person giving but then i'm very private and would not like what i may have done all over my profile. I would expect someone to cam then chat on fone before I would even consider meeting for a coffee .

We don't take any notice of verifications, be it none or a few.

Inversely we are likely to be put off if there are hundreds of verifications.

Some of the best meets we've had has been with newbies with no verifications at all, we consider that everyone had to start somewhere.

And although we are still very active players, our verifications on here are looking out-of-date because we mostly meet new people in person through others and social events and clubs.

We would be happy to meet for a social we suggest a local gay bar we don't Tavel but can accomadate , we don't web cam though three reasons

1 we can't be arsed to buy one

2 if we did buy one we couldn't be arsed to use it

3 where can you put a webcam on an iPad ???

I think the key to meeting people that aren't into clubs is to look at their veris and see if they have club veris only .

If someone just has webcam veris it's obvious to us it is not going to work as we don't have a webcam .

But as we don't webcam we a will give out our number pretty early , we never use the fem to fem contact first as Paula knows I organise it and is happy with that and as people are meeting us in a place we would normally be its only their loss in the long run

For us no meet in person veris then no meet, unless its at a fab social. no reason for anyone who is genuine getting meet in person vetifications as you only have to put yourself out a luttle and go to a fab social night chat to people who will then generally veri you. if someone is prepared to go to the effort of getting veried even if it neans going to a fab social to get them then they are worth taking a chance on arranging a meet with over the ones who cant be bothered and just want it all dine for them. thats the way we see it.
