Rings come either rubber or metal. Rubber ones are tighter and slightly less comfortable - but because they are tighter, I find they work better for the purposes of maintaining the erection. If you want to get a metal one, you’ll need to measure your cock … do this using a piece of string - you can get guidance on this process on the internet. I’d recommend experimenting with what the perfect size is for you. Start with a little bigger and adjust down for comfort.

Used the cheap durex one that can go longer them the recommended 6 uses.

At the time had issues with my foreskin which a ring helped with at the start of a session but would ultimately make them worse by the end.

I'm new to the joys of rings too. I'm experimenting with rubber (well, silicone) at the moment - I'm not confident measuring my "needs" accurately and I don't want to end up with a bunch of firemen angle-grinding a metal ring from around my strangulated sausage...

My first try was a Lovehoney set with three sizes, the biggest one was stretchy enough to go around the package but squeezed to much behind the coin purse. It pinched quite painfully which had the opposite effect of the intended! I tried again and bought a set with a wider array of sizes, there's a bigger one that gives just the right amount of squeeze and it feels great. I'd like to progress to metal at some point, but I'm a little wary still!

You can get some silicone ones which are adjustable, have a bead which can be used to tighten and in the right place add a little extra clit pleasure for your partner.

Bought a set from Amazon that have different number of beads so you can decide the best way to wear.

They can be good if you get a good size and with silicone probably have to go a little smaller than you think for desired effect.

I've never had any luck with cock rings. I've tried several times with different sizes and around balls and base of cock. Didn't achieve anything. However years ago I used a thick elastic band doubled over at base if cock once erect an that did work in keeping me hard. Tricky to get off though. So I kept a scissors handy.
