Well sure some are plugging a hole as they don't like their partners and something lacking but your question displays a big misunderstanding about swinging. It is about so much more - threesomes, foursomes/swapping, groups, parties, clubs, social side, exploring kinks, etc These are things you can't do just with your partner even if they are 100% your type as you put. Swinging is not in the main about one on one hook ups although plenty do that too.

I think if swinging like I think of eating in restaurants it's all very nice and within reason I can choose anything from the menu but in the long term I much prefer eating at home.
