Need advice..again

Man asks me to meet, I say yes. I message to confirm meet to be now told if he can get time off work?

Why arrange when you don't even know your free or be upfront about it.

Feel like telling him I'm washing my hair. What would you do?

Toronto

Tell him it is off, and when he can make firm plans (pun intended), then he can get in touch.

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

When that happens I say 'I'll leave it with you then' and then do that. You're time is just as important as his.

Over the rainbow, under the bridge

I had a number of these. Bloody annoying. Like putting you on stand by.

People do this in regular social life too: make plans and then find they may or may not be free. It's behaviour though.

It is a bit non committal, but people do have lives and you have to understand that.

What if it were roles reversed, and someone got irritated with you when you were genuinely trying to find time for them?

I'd see what he does next, it will become obvious if he does want to meet, even if he can't this time around.

I totally agree if he would of just said I may be able to meet. But he never so if he can't make it I'd just be cancelled last minute.
