No not the porn get your mind out of the gutter

Last night we left a club and a guy tried to claim he was our Uber, when I checked the reg he wasn't. So just a be careful guys

I'm not going to name the club because it's not fair on them when it's outside but it's worth keeping an eye out if you get a taxi home. We have told the club owners

Spot on well done, sometimes get that in Newcastle & Sunderland too.

Its not to bad for lads but hate to think a group of girls or girl/women on their own.

A guy in my local newspaper is serving prison for this crime pretending to be a fake taxi he picked up a lone female trying to get home from a night out & he sexually assaulted the female it have now ruined her life so be careful everyone

I often thought of that sometimes when I hop in a 'cab' ....are they pretending to be a taxi ha....cos some cars only have the taxi sticker along the side of their car ....

No harm done I guess .... especially on busy nights when taxis are in big demand & there's a shortage....(once their motive isn't sinister"

This is good advice in general. It’s a problem that has always existed. Always check that your taxi is who they claim they are no matter where you’re getting it from.

Thanks for the reminder, since we are out next weekend and it's a rare opportunity me and Mr are staying over and both having a drink, it's a top tip to remember to check.

It's such an odd thing to do and hope anyone in this situation reports the registration. Glad you realised OP!
