Have noticed an increasing number of threads on the forum where posters start one asking for advice on an issue or problem and then become incredibly defensive when the replies are not to their liking......... Surely the beauty of a forum is that you get views from all corners? I just don't understand the animosity really

Just because you get views from all corners doesn't mean they're the views they want to hear!!

Sadly many come looking for an ego/moral boost, thinking that everyone will be warm , welcoming and fluffy, and tell them all the things they want to hear to make them feel good and positive.

Sadly this is usually not the case - and it varies between being the fault of the OP for having unrealistic expectations - and subsequent posters who have nothing better to do than shoot people down in flames for asking a simple question or for help.

It's forum life - always has been, always will be!

Some people mistake those who enjoy recreational sex for people with no moral code and expect to be supported in deceiving their partner or given the go ahead to coerce their partner into this lifestyle. When they don't get answers that fit with what they think they start chucking their toys out of the pram.
