Even when it's couples on here you may find that you are talking to the male most of the time ( nothing wrong with that), however we check the verifications plus we stick to the club and party scene. Meets are with people that we have met at clubs etc

Straight males. Yet they message and say bi ffs just own it and state your preference

Couples... when only the male messages and pretends to be female. Key words.. hun babe. Love. And not saying him.or her that's messaging...

and then you have profiles of men who us the site as a cheap thrill like have no intention of meeting just want the chase then go cold there are always going to be these profiles before fab was born the other best known site was full of fake profiles so its a internet thing ..

but in all honestly 99% of them are really really easy to spot if your a swinger ....sadly alot of men fall for these profiles out of desperation to either have a wank or meet or to get on the swinging ladder..

sadly its men creating a false playing field for men

people do and can fake photo veri's they prove nothing not only that some are couples in the begining but wife goes off swinging or relationship breakdown they dont need false pics when they havethe original pics... for a proper veri system that cant be faked would be expensive and give it time cracked ..

it used to be worse on fab there used to be a phone veri where someone could give a veri by saying they chatted on phone well they got rid of that thankfully i also think they should kill the cam veri it means and proves nothing people want to know that the person they are reading about will turn up is real in person as in meeting private club or social.. but even then there are women on here who feel sorry for men and give them a veri ruining it for many and thats without fake profiles giving veri's ... fake veri's are many so i no longer look at mens veris unless they've met someone we know on the scene

its pretty simple when your a couple whos been messed around or on the scene for a long time these things we tend to build a sense of spoting rubbish ...its the newbie couples/women who mainly get called out and of couse mainly men ..

as a couple who have been on this scene over 30 years when we started the messers were very few and never happened and then when it did we adjust and that counts for anything that smells wrong over time its so easy to spot yes one might slip thru but thats life ...i cannot remember the last let down we had we jus or i just dont pick them anymore my swinging mind just avoids as with loads or other people who been on the scene for some time you learn what and whom to avoid... simple really

Some folk are more transparent and some are more discreet

My faith in chatting in messages has gone as never know who ya chatting too

Couple profiles that are single amd single profiles who are married etc .

If people say be discreet then say ypur married or family kids etc.. we are all human and have lives

Totally see why these are red flags for you, but that does not mean these Single men profiles are fakes.

Single profile means 1 person in the profile, not that the person is unattached. If they lie about it or they omit it in the profile, it is their choice to do so and your choice to red-flag them and move on, but does not make them fake profiles. Many couples and women do not give a damn about cheaters, so for them those are genuine single men profiles. You'll see that you'll be ignored by Fab admin if you report these profiles as fakes.

Straight men that claim being bi: again, they lie either in the profile or to you, but it is their choice what box to tick in sexual orientation. If that's important to you, then it's ok to red-flag and move on, but they are nevertheless a single male with a male profile, so not fake for whoever does not care about their sexuality. You'll see that you'll be ignored by Fab admin if you report these profiles as fakes.

Couples with men pretending to be the female. This one I agree it could be fake profiles if there's only a male behind them. If you can prove it, or it is very clear it's a male, then report it to admin as catfishing.

There are so many clues in the what they say and the way they say it.

It’s impossible for a guy to pretend to be a woman for any length of time.

Believe me, I’ve come across a few.

Ridiculously easy to catch them out.

Usually, yes. Availablity, and the ability to accommodate, are usually easy indicators.

That wouldn’t work. Anyone could leave negative feedback for any reason, and not necessarily genuine. In addition, verifications are only shown based on the individual’s choice. If the system remained the same negative feedback wouldn’t be shown.

For us, who are only photo verified as we yet haven't found anyone/had the confidence to physically meet anyone yet, it is very off-putting when people immediately brand us "fake" or really start "poking holes" in our profile. Just because you've got a few verifications and you've been on here for years doesn't mean your King or Queen Bee.

I fully understand, especially for the single women on here, there must be loads of fake profiles or time wasters sending message after message and just thinking you're an easy notch on the bedpost. After all we're all on this site for the same reason aren't we?!

Our big red flag is people who clearly haven't read our profile and within the first couple of messages ask "so what are you looking for". I'm not saying they're fake, but take a little time to read about who you're potentially interested in first. If someone asks us that then that's it, conversation over. Read our profile, its listed on there - fully ask us about our fantasies etc by all means but.

I do most of the checking/messaging on here (male) due to her working really long and daft hours. This is fully explained on our profile but you still get people demanding to chat to her even when I explain she isn't available due to work. Then it's "oh well you must be fake, hiding behind a profile". Sorry some of us have a life and other things to do.

Whilst I do enjoy the site and hopefully we may have found one or two people we're seriously considering meeting, there does seem to be an air of "we're better than you" with some people. I get to ward off fake profiles they are very picky and very choosy. But to me it also doesn't hurt to maybe have a quick couple of messages, and I've found you soon find out who is fake and who is real.

You have a meet up for the Male only to meet. Unfortunately until you have verifications as a couple some people will think you're a single Male. You may not be, but that's the way some will see it.
