Any advice for a single guy taking on a club for the first time, I'm Bi curious, happy to join in if there's an attraction, but also happy to just chat and make new friends.

North East area. York/ Leeds.

Go with no expectations, dress smart (including pants), be approachable, smile, say hello to people ask if it’s ok to sit and chat, talk to all male, female, couples. Chat. Don’t expect anything. Chat to others.

Don’t stand in corner wanking, chat to staff and ask to go on tour, the tour will point you out as a newbie at the club, and is normally a chance to get introduced to regulars, and for others to see you wandering round.

Most clubs will offer a tour to newbies. We always take a tour of any club we are visiting for the first time. They normally ask if it’s your first time at their club or any club.

When we say their club we get a different kind of tour, especially when they spot the kit bag, they make sure they give us a good look at the dungeon.

Clubs can be very quiet. Check out all those around you via their websites. There are particular focus events eg bi nights that may match your preferences and also theme nights which may match your interests and give you things to chat about with others. Generally, these special events attract more people so there’s a greater number of people to mix with.

Wherever you go, have fun, have no expectations and be prepared to mix. Mrs SW

Can recommend ClubF just outside Durham if it’s North East you are looking for, they have a newbie night once a month (check their website) and is not too big for a first visit to a club. Really friendly staff and owner, and great social area so you feel like you are in a pub/hotel rather than a swingers club. Until you venture to the rooms
