I never really understood no nut November. I get it, it's about discipline but still no orgasms for a while month just seems like a waste. But I do like some aspects on it and I've been thinking on it all the way through December.

I'm M43 and in a relationship with a demanding career so the more important discipline is making time to show your partner you appreciate them and still find them hot. Making time to play and keep things interesting.

Note: I've never needed Dry January either. With family obligations over the Christmas period I think I had 3 glasses of wine total.

So a new twist on NNN appeared in my head "Just Sex January" where I cannot masturbate for the whole of January but when I want to get off I pour that energy into doing something with my partner. The spirit being to mix it up a bit.

Examples:

That's kind of the point. We all get times where we are stressed by family or work and go for quick and easy solutions. Gamifying the month to put in a bit more effort sounds healthy AF to me.

Only problem is I'm an early riser and often horny in the morning and she likes to lay in so I may be a pest this month

I have a suspicion that it won’t be hard for you to come to a mutual arrangement in the morning.

I’d agree that taking the quick and easy option in stresssufl times can happen, not just with sex.
