Dental dams.?

I saw a post about some guys going bareback, and, def not us. But what about using female dental dams? How many guys use one, and ladies, do you insist on using one?

We're still new at this lifestyle, want to stay protected. Will we get looked at like we have two heads if we mention it to a potential partner?

A dental dam is a sheet of latex, kinda like a rectangle. Come in flavors, lay it over the female area for oral sex.

If you ask me, it's a piece of a plasic bag to act as a barrier.

We bought a 3 pack for "the moment" but want to know other's thoughts on using them.

Gotta say sounds like a bit of a passion killer.

But do whatever you feel safe doing. If you feel more comfortable using one, I respect that.

Oh I know what you mean now. I saw them on a sex programme on tv.

The nurse recommend them to lesbians. Apparently they are flavoured.

The women who tried them out said they wouldn't use them again as they were too fiddly, taste disgusting and were a big turn off..

Have bought 3, never used 1 yet. Been together for over 20 years, married for 13 and are now starting in the lifestyle.

Even using a typical condom will be strange again to us. We actually plan on playing w/ protection ourselves just to become familiar again. Even bought flavored condoms for oral sex and plan on experimenting w/ what's the best flavor.

Plan on playing w/ the dental dams too, but might be better using a fruit roll-up candy sheet instead

Well I personally think it's all about mutual respect and consent. Never get carried away in the moment. Always set clear boundaries before a meet. Like most of life use your common sense and trust your gut.

I always do oral bareback don't see the point not doing it defeats the object really....i like receiving it and will expect a guy or a girl to do me...

I just get regular checks only way to stay fully safe i guess..that and all full sex is safe.

I watched that! Omg loved that programme. Really made me wide eyed with shock. Fairly local to me too.

I don't like receiving oral so it's not a problem in that respect but we did insist on condoms for oral with guys when we first started out; it's not nice, even flavoured tastes horrible and the test choked you. If someone came up with a good alternative I'd try it but I doubt it would catch on, same goes for dental fans. Risk management is the way forward.

I got given some at the GUM clinic a couple of years ago. It's more important to protect the penis for oral unless you are worried about genital warts or herpes because of where the bugs are sited in the female body.

we ave always insisted on protection ....condoms n dams had a few.negative reactions but thats their loss we like safe play n the dams r not that bad u can still feel everything

We have used dams for a giggle, we got ours free from the good old G.U.M. clinic and we get on with them well. It does take a bit of practice to get used to them, the only real problem we had was Morrigan making me promise never to use a mint one ever again lol.

My daughter has been latex allergic all her life !!!! Nightmare balloons erasers knicker elastic sock elastic glue trainers tattoos and as she hits her 20s condoms
