The nerve of some people!

Why is it on Fab, when you message someone and they are not interested, do they then have to send you a polite reply saying 'No thank you'?

Honestly, don't they have the basic common decency and manners to just delete our message without replying? It only takes a second after all.

Instead, they have to go to the time and trouble to compose and send a polite rejection message. It's enough to make your blood boil, it really is!

I would have thought that most people would rather you responded to their request, whether it be, no thankyou, or busy at present or taking some time off. Do you think everyone should drop everything and rush round lol (perhaps drop everything is the wrong phrase)

I do hope you sent a long polite "thanks for your courteous rejection message rather than just delete and block" response to their polite rejection message - just so the polite bastards then had to message a "thank you" for taking their rejection so well and being so equally polite as to reply!!

If they're going to waste your time having to read a polite response - it's only fair to get your own back!!

Do wonder really about this, we have never received an abusive message in response to a polite no.

The worst that has ever happened is that someone sent us the message '???' when we replied thanks but no thanks. Which is quite open to interpretation, really!

There is never an excuse for an abusive response of course, but pretty sure that they are only a fraction in comparison to the polite or mute acknowledgements.

You should put it online for them to view, but instead of messaging them the link, pop it in the classifieds in your local paper

Surely sending a reply provides a good opportunity to twist the knife in the poor idiot who had the temerity to approach you?

No doubt you demanded in your profile, as a prerequisite to you opening the message, a face picture (so you can have a laugh), "no one liners", "entertain me", "stand out from the rest" so the looser spent time reading the vitriol about single males in your profile before trying to catch your eye in a message. Surely it cannot be as satisfying for you to just delete his message?

It must be better to get back and tell him that his pathetic manhood would not impress a gnat. His body does not have an erection but is in the advanced stages of rigor mortis and you are not into necrophilia LOL! ha! I am so Funny!!!. Then say "leave us alone or we will report you!"

This is your chance! Don't just leave it to the profile wording. Get straight to them with a message!

And whatever you do, do not UNTICK the preference box that says "a man" because this is where most of the cannon fodder come from.

Personally I do most of the time send a no thanks and why, just because the site rules say you don't have to doesn't mean you have to follow the rules. If you think its rude not to then do it. And I have never had any rude responses back either, most have thanked me for responding those that continue just get ignored and deleted

It is when you get a lot of messages in one day, most not from people who are a match and haven't read your profile and a lot of people don't take no for an answer and get rude or abusive. Read the faq's even they state it's not rude to delete a message with no reply!

What you say is not unreasonable unless you consider the effort some people put into making first contact. If they have read the profile, addressed the issues in it and are within your own person spec then it is hardly fair to delete them with no response? Would you blank a man at a party who spoke politely to you?

Sure, delete "Wanna suck my cock woman?" messages but if someone has put real effort in that should be recognized at least. Yes? No?

In the end, on Fabswingers the motto is "If you have the pussy: you have the power".

LOL good one! I'm drowning in cock you know. Never have enough time to meet them all.

No-one is entitled to anything on here. I am not entitled to a meet, and people reading my profile are not entitled to a reply. If we let others use the site in the way they wish, and we use the site in the way we wish, then things will be fine.
