What's the best night in the week on canal St? Gonna treat myself to a night away in the city and looking to have some fun down canal street?

Would love to hear of some nice bars to try out ...

I've not been to Canal St for years so I don't know if it's as busy as it was but Fri Sat always had a crowd. Some pubs are more gay than others, if you don't like one there'll be another, it's pretty sociable. I think I remember hearing Tues is a drag night but not sure?
