Blimey, there must be a sale on at travelodge. Mid-week prices circa £25-30 for central Birmingham in the first week of January.

In the past I've mostly used Travelodges for meets, simple cheap & Cheerful and thank you very nicely, as far as I'm concerned

Thanks for the tip, might book a room and have a few nights in Birmingham as it’s so cheap.
