Why is it? I can't reply without a photo. So it just means first message I would have to send is... do you have a photo

Then I have to refuse if they send me one and I don't like it. And they now know it was due to the photo.

It's not really a big deal to send a photo. I also insist on a phone number when I'm actually meeting outside of a club.

I don't see why its unreasonable

Why waste your time messaging someone you don't fancy, saves time to see people straight away so you can say not my type rather than talking to then for a day or so only to then find out you don't want to meet then when they do send you a pic

Theres plenty that will attach a pic and when theres this many single guys you have to decide how much do you want a meet. The reason we ask for a face right of the bat is simple. Mail quanity, we get around 30-40 messages a day of single guys so we dont have the time to chat to ppl that are not what we are after, hence a face pic from the get go. On the plus side it will stop you wasting your time aswell.

Just our view.

If I get a message from a guy and he has attached a pic that I like and I get another message from a guy with no pics im going to reply to the guy with the pic

I don't ask for pics so if men don't want to send me one that's totally upto them but they wont get a reply, which is upto me

Just as I bet the OP is more likely to mail a woman who has pics rather than one who does not, because we all like to see who we are talking to, why should he get to see the women if they cant see him?

I totally agree to the "no pic no chat" why should I waste my time on a faceless person when there are plenty guys out there that don't mind sending their pic.. Attraction is important when your going to meet someone. So totally pointless wasting time chatting to a guy for a day or so only to find out he ain't my cup of tea...

Plus when a guy refuses to send a pic or says he hasn't uploaded one, speaks volumes. Has he something to hide? Is he who he says he is? Is it a fake profile...etc etc Think about it, makes sense when you do???

Whenever we send a message first, we always include face pics of us BOTH if it's to a couple or just MrsD if it's to a man. If you can't be bothered to include a face pic you're not the man/couple we want to meet

Too many times we've got into conversation with people only to find several messages down the line that we don't find the person we've been chatting to our cup of tea.....we are then accused of wasting sometimes time. Can't win!

It's quite simple why people do it, it's so that you can see straight away if you are attracted to the person. Nothing worse than exchanging a few mails and thinking this is great then getting the pic later and being disappointed as there is no physical attraction.

As others have said if it annoys you that much then don't mail people that request you to do so

I can understand why people do say it, as physical attraction is important in a potential playmate.

By the same token, we hear the term 'it's not just about sex, it's about being social' lauded a hell of a lot in these forums.

So are we only 'social' with those we may wish to fuck at some point ?

If that is the case then maybe the scene (specifically in reference to the use of this site) is not as 'social' as we would perhaps like to think ?

Not a point out of spite, frustration or bitterness, but one that does make me question just how 'social' some people really are.

I can understand why people might not send a pic with their first message. I don't because I'm attached (let's not start a debate on whether you think that's ok or not, it's been done to death). But I make it very clear in my profile that that's the reason. I also make it clear that I'm happy to go on cam in the chatrooms and show my face before things go any further - there definitely does have to be an attraction.

There are also a LOT of blokes on here pretending to be women and I don't really fancy them getting hold of my pics. On another site I go on, a well know scam is for people from nigeria or wherever to pretend to be girls and then once they've got pics, to blackmail people so they won't put them on public websites. I also don't think it's reasonable for women to insist on pics when they haven't got one in their profile.

It's also very very easy to fake photos, not so with a webcam. And going on cam gives a much more accurate idea of what someone really looks like.

You might not agree with the reasons, but there are legitimate ones why blokes might not want to send their pic to a random stranger...

Well look at it this way.. the chances are if you are going to send a message your are hoping to get a meet at some point. and not many would agree to meet without pic.. so why the hell waste peoples time messaging without a pic ?

We had freinds req yesterday said sorry only accept if we have met or plan to meet.. the reply was thanks can we meet..no pic at all on profile no information. yeah get a grip.

if you want to meet you should be prepared to send pic.. if you dont want to thats your business but dont rant about it move on to ones that are happy to chat without pic. seems like the ones you prefer are the ones that want pic.. if you like them that much send a pic.

Theres people here for everyone.. maybe you should leave the ones that dont suit alone. everyone can request or insist on whatever they want on here its their profile and their body. so dont shout about it move on to others.

i have no problem sending a face pic to any new potential people. there is an unfairness though that often you do not see a face pic of the people you are sending to, works both ways, in that i may not fancy the other person either. its the way of this and similar sites. best to accept ans get on with it.

This is why I insist on a pic and a social meet. I have to find someone physically and mentally attractive to want to play with them. Yeah in my vanilla life I've been with people that I wouldn't say are my type but that's because I've known them years and personality has son through. In my swinging life I have very little free time and so want to know there's at least some attraction there before I meet someone.

Why waste your time messaging someone you don't fancy, saves time to see people straight away so you can say not my type rather than talking to then for a day or so only to then find out you don't want to meet then when they do send you a pic"

Because it is not nice to get in to a chat with someone. They think they are 'in there'. Eventually show their face pic and you find you are not attracted to them - for whatever reason. Then you have to tell them.

Imagine how that feels! Not nice. Best to establish straight away whether you are attracted and likely to meet. Isn't that why we are here? Not to just chat - this is not Facebook.

I sent an early pic as alwsys after them sending one to me.

They then wanted to see my private gallery as they said I could have uploaded any pic and sent to them. If I had uploaded a pic that wasnt me I would have sent a prettier lady than I am!

I thought it funny as with so many verfications I clearly must look like my pics or someone would have pointed it out by now.

There are also a LOT of blokes on here pretending to be women and I don't really fancy them getting hold of my pics. On another site I go on, a well know scam is for people from nigeria or wherever to pretend to be girls and then once they've got pics, to blackmail people so they won't put them on public websites. I also don't think it's reasonable for women to insist on pics when they haven't got one in their profile.

It's also very very easy to fake photos, not so with a webcam. And going on cam gives a much more accurate idea of what someone really looks like.

You might not agree with the reasons, but there are legitimate ones why blokes might not want to send their pic to a random stranger..."

Everyone has choices, it's their choice to ask, and the other parties to send or not. It's also a way of checking if someone has read profile, as message will say images attached.

I think similar. I'd expect pretty much everyone would want to see a picture before agreeing to meet, along with a phone call etc. But we avoid people with profiles listing out their exact requirements on the basis that it suggests they're not likely to be the most easy going of people.

Se it this way - would you honestly reply to somebody who refused to send a pic, but seemed nice - arrange to meet her and she resembles Jabba the Hutt or he resembles Bernard manning, even though they say they are 25 and 29???

Save too much timewasting and if a picture isn't present in a profile, then one in a message is a very resonable request. Unless there is something to hide????

Me I would talk to anyone pic or no pic because this profile is for chat, if you contact my couples profile then a pic of what you look like is the minimum we expect we do prefer to see you in the chatrooms on cam we won't meet you if you don't. We have pics it's what attracts people to our profile you will get more replies if you have pics

I suppose there has to be a level of discretion. Some ladies don't want to advertise who they are and suffer 200 message every day, so they don't post an image. But when it comes to the other person providing one then there has to be a further level of respect otherwise it maybe just timewasting.

Most guys are on here for a quick fill (women know that as well as the men) so a face pic is kind of the obligatory way of a woman knowing you're real and not just there to try and live a fantasy or cracking one off to kill time whilst the wife is asleep or nobody is in the office. LOL!

so whats the difference for you between sending a pic and going on cam, if you need to be ultra discrete then u need to be wise on who u choose to message, as you have said people have fake pics, what if its reversed and you get sent fake pics and then go on cam and bam its someone u know??

someone may have fake pics which is why it is good to insist on camming with someone before you meet.. but the chances of coming across someone with fakes pics to someone u dont find attractive on first glance is so very much lower dont u think.. ?

I will readily admit that I'm not here for the social! I'm very sociable at clubs, parties and, erm, socials, but I don't exchange messages with people on here to become their friends (although I would consider my regular playmates as friends now)

For me, I don't want to waste time talking to someone I'm not attracted to and wouldn't want to end up in bed with - I have vanilla friends for that!

Hence people who don't send a face pic don't tend to get any attention from me. Call me shallow and unsociable but that's just how it is
